People out there authentically believe the most ridiculous nonsense imaginable. Believing in your native religion is pretty easy.

You can just do things. You can collectively decide that we obey these things now and punish/exclude those who don’t.

You can go back. Renaissance, Romantic movements, various periods in Rome and countless others just decided to go back.

And even if it’s not 100% replication, we have a holy obligation to try. It’s not up to us to decide. We are subjects of the mighty powers on high, our holy Goðin.

You can just do things. And you must do the things you ought to do. And when groups just do things together it manifests into praxis. Then that praxis is taught your children, thus making tradition.

So, I entirely reject the argument of “you can’t go back”.

Guess what? Just did.
