🖌 در متن خبری زیر، لغاتی که کنار هم بولد شدند، به ترتیب در سطح A1، سطح B1 و سطح C1 هستند.

Travelers/Passengers/Commuters in Seoul are using the world's first driverless night bus.

Self-driving taxis are not so unusual anymore, but autonomous public transport in city centers is a new/fresh/novel thing. A BBC reporter took a late-night ride on the Seoul autonomous bus. The vehicle uses modern technology which costs millions. The bus operates smoothly, but a driver is there/present/available for emergencies.

Some people believe that autonomous buses will fix/solve/resolve problems with public transport in the city, especially for late-night travelers. South Korea spends a lot of money on autonomous vehicles, but there are still problems/issues/troubles with it. It is expensive and it is not possible to use it everywhere.

✳️ Explosion at Yellowstone National Park ✳️

🖌 در متن خبری زیر، لغاتی که کنار هم بولد شدند، به ترتیب در سطح A1، سطح B1 و سطح C1 هستند.

A hydrothermal boom/explosion/eruption at Yellowstone National Park surprised visitors.

Steam, rock, and dirt shot into the sky, and people started running away/escaping/fleeing. No one was hurt, but the explosion damaged a path in the Biscuit Basin area, and authorities had to close it. Similar/Alike/Analogous explosions happen when underground water turns to steam. They are usual in Yellowstone and happened before in 1959, 1991, and 2009. Minerals blocking an underground pipe could cause the last explosion.

It is hard to guess/predict/forecast these events because they can happen suddenly. Park officials and scientists will check if the explosion changed the underground system. They will look at the water and temperature of nearby geysers. There are no marks/signs/indications of changes in the volcanic system, and the park is safe.

✳️ Why people stutter ✳️

🖌 در متن خبری زیر، لغاتی که کنار هم بولد شدند، به ترتیب در سطح A1، سطح B1 و سطح C1 هستند.

Reports say that 70 million people globally/worldwide/internationally stutter. This is about one percent of the whole population. People who stutter have problems when they speak. Usually, they make a pause before they say a difficult word, or they repeat the same word many/several/numerous times. Scientists found that these people have different brains, so you cannot always stop a stutter.

More people in one family often stutter, so the problem/condition/disorder is genetic, too. Interestingly, men stutter three times more than women, but scientists don't really know why. People can learn some methods/techniques/strategies, which make their stutter less clear/obvious/noticeable, but these techniques don't change the brain. They learn to understand that what we speak is more important rather than how we say.

✳️ Why buses are yellow ✳️

🖌 در متن خبری زیر، لغاتی که کنار هم بولد شدند، به ترتیب در سطح A1، سطح B1 و سطح C1 هستند.

Over time, most school buses in the US became the same yellow color. In the past, many children walked or used horses to go to school. Later, red, white, and blue buses took children to support/promote/advocate patriotism.

In 1939, a professor at Columbia University met with teachers, engineers, and other experts/professionals/specialists. They wrote a document of 42 pages that was about school buses. Experts recommended to make the school buses yellow because black letters on yellow can be seen easily/with ease/conveniently. Also, yellow buses were more clear/visible/noticeable in bad weather.

The yellow color got its own name, and although no rule/law/regulation says that school buses must be yellow, most of the 480,000 school US buses are yellow.
