☢️В цю хвилину, рівно 40 років тому сталась найстрашніша аварія в історії ядерної енергетики.

Людська халатність спричинила два теплових вибухи на 4-му Енергоблоці ЧАЕС і вивільнення в повітря величезної кількості небезпечних речовин, що сформували радіоактивну хмару.

Люди отримували опромінення просто знаходячись вдома в Припʼяті, а окупаційна влада СРСР ще деякий час применшувала обсяги аварії.

Близько 130.000 тисяч людей було евакуйовано, й ще 600.000 були опроміненні радіацією.

30-ти кілометрова зона навколо ЧАЕС стала зоною відчуження

☢️Exactly 40 years ago today, the worst accident in the history of nuclear energy occurred.

Human negligence caused two thermal explosions at the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant’s Unit 4 and the release of a massive amount of hazardous substances into the air, forming a radioactive cloud.

People were exposed to radiation simply by staying at home in Pripyat, while the Soviet occupation authorities continued to downplay the scale of the accident for some time.

Approximately 130,000 people were evacuated, and another 600,000 were exposed to radiation.

The 30-kilometer zone around the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant became an exclusion zone
