🔹 H.E. Dr. Taing Nguonly, Executive Director of Techo Startup Center, attended the «Digital and Green Innovation Forum Asia-Pacific», held from 21 to 24 April 2026 in Manila, Philippines, and organized by GIZ.
The forum brought together innovators, policymakers, and key ecosystem stakeholders from Asia-Pacific and Europe to exchange knowledge, strengthen collaboration, and advance digital and green innovation.
On this occasion, H.E. Dr. Taing Nguonly was invited as a speaker in a key panel discussion on “Digital Public Infrastructure as a Basis for Innovation and Digital Sovereignty.” The session highlighted the critical role of digital public infrastructure—such as digital identity, payment systems, and trusted data-sharing—in driving innovation and fostering inclusive and sustainable economies.
Notably, five Cambodian startups participated in pitching their innovations, namely Kasegro, Dorsu, KonektAgri, Evola Cambodia, and VP.Start, showcasing the growing potential and competitiveness of Cambodia’s startup ecosystem on the international stage.
This participation reflects Cambodia’s proactive engagement in international platforms to learn from global best practices, strengthen partnerships, and promote digital and green transformation, with a strong focus on building innovative, secure, and sovereign digital infrastructure.
