🇾🇪 (1962–1970):
During the North Yemen Civil War, Saudi Arabia backed the Zaidi Shia Royalists against the Republican forces, despite their major religious differences. The Royalists were fighting to restore the Zaidi imamate, while the Republicans were backed by Nasser's Egypt and included Shafi'i and Arab-nationalist elements. Israel also covertly supported the Royalists, alongside other foreign actors.
The conflict was driven less by Sunni-Shia sectarianism than by competing political and strategic interests. Saudi Arabia saw the Egyptian-backed republic as a threat to its security and monarchy, while Israel sought to keep Egyptian forces tied down in Yemen.
Riyadh was willing to arm and support Zaidi Shia forces when it served its interests, just as it later fought the Zaidi-led Houthis when their alignment and activities conflicted with Saudi interests.

Surah An-Nisa 4:74 - 75:
Let those who would sacrifice this life for the Hereafter fight in the cause of Allah. And whoever fights in Allah’s cause—whether they achieve martyrdom or victory—We will honour them with a great reward.
And what is it with you? You do not fight in the cause of Allah and for oppressed men, women, and children who cry out, “Our Lord! Deliver us from this land of oppressors! Appoint for us a saviour; appoint for us a helper—all by Your grace.”
These verses condemn passivity in the face of oppression, directly mirroring the plight of Palestinians in Gaza.
The Quran’s command is clear—silence in the face of genocide betrays faith. Gaza’s suffering demands action, not indifference.
Yet today’s Muslim & Arab leaders are silent in the face of genocide. While Gaza is bombed and starved, rulers sign normalisation deals with Israel, prioritising politics over Islamic duty.
"They are content to be with those who stay behind. Their hearts are sealed, so they do not understand." (9:87)
Leaders who abandon Gaza betray Islam, the Ummah, and Allah’s command—choosing cowardice over courage, disgrace over honour.
The ummah sees their betrayal. History—and Allah—will not forget.

Kashmir 1965:
Pakistan launched Operation Gibraltar in August 1965, infiltrating Pakistani soldiers and irregulars into Indian-administered Kashmir in the hope of sparking a popular uprising against Indian rule.
Instead, the expected revolt largely failed to materialise. Many local Kashmiris refused to join the campaign, while others reported the Pakistanis to Indian authorities, exposing their positions and movements.
The operation was marked a significant failure. Some accounts describe it as betrayal by Kashmiris who turned the Pakistanis in.
