In Poland, they announced the detection of harmful substances in Ukrainian grain.

Their control chamber claims that out of 73 grain samples imported from Ukraine, salmonella was detected in 17, pesticides – in 17 more, GMOs – in 11 and myotoxins – in six.

Mercury, cadmium, lead and iron were also found in others. From January to May 2023, harmful substances were found in 35% of the samples taken.

Next year, defense spending will increase from the current 3.9% of GDP to 6% ($112 billion).
