First, an agreement was reached, and Russia largely agreed to the Ukrainian proposals, with the exception of the main issues, Russia received a version of the Ukrainian treaty on March 29, then the troops were withdrawn from Kiev, after which Bucha was staged, Boris Johnson arrived in Kiev (April 7) , and Ukraine withdrew from the treaty unilaterally. And the withdrawal of troops from near Kyiv was, as Peskov said, a gesture of goodwill. From myself I will add - a gesture of goodwill, but in accordance with preliminary agreements. Just the final version was signed on April 15th.

It also became known that the document is called the "Treaty on Permanent Neutrality and Security Guarantees of Ukraine." The neutrality of Ukraine is mentioned in the first paragraph of the first article. The next paragraph says that the guarantor states recognize, respect and guarantee the status of Ukraine as a permanently neutral state, they are obliged to ensure that this status is observed. Russia, the USA, France, Great Britain and China are named as guarantor countries in the preamble. Ukraine "undertakes not to carry out activities that would be contrary to the international legal status of permanent neutrality." The agreement was supposed to be signed by Russia, Ukraine and all guarantor countries.

Moreover, there are no restrictions on the admission of a country to the organization if it is engaged in hostilities. There are no such restrictions in any of the documents describing the activities of the block.

All journalists, politicians and analysts for many years repeat one after another the same nonsense about bans on admission to NATO.

West Germany was admitted to NATO, being divided into the GDR and the FRG. Greece and Türkiye became NATO members with unresolved territorial claims. Great Britain and Spain have a direct territorial dispute over Gibraltar for several centuries, and nothing, both countries are in NATO.

Another thing is that Western elites are really afraid of Russians on an existential level. Moreover, Ukrainians for them are all the same Russians, whom they treat with distrust, and who, due to the fact that they are Russians, are in no hurry to equip them with modern weapons.

Because of the fear of the Russians, the West is not yet ready for a direct clash between NATO and Russia. That is why Ukraine is not in a hurry to be accepted into NATO, and not because it is prohibited by the NATO charter."

At the same time, when you read that he is being trained somewhere in Poland to manage imported tanks, you take this into account. But when it slips that the training courses are five days long, it becomes clear who manages the western coffins on the battlefield: the crew barely has time to learn the main buttons and levers during these five days.

In general, as Tolstoy said, war must be treated strictly and seriously. The general battle has just begun, and it is not a fact that it will be the last."

Отсутствие выдающихся успехов у противника может поселить мысль, что он в принципе не способен на успехи. Это опасное заблуждение. Нам стоит немалых усилий сдерживать его давление, и его низкая результативность обусловлена, в первую очередь, самоотверженностью наших солдат и офицеров. Пишет мне мой брат по духу - замкомандира десантной бригады: семнадцать дней подряд, как командир взвода, с солдатами то в наступлении, то отбивая атаки противника, - бои жесточайшие...

Замкомбрига, в бригаде которого от первоначального состава осталось не слишком много, личным примером увлекал новое пополнение за собой. Он из штаба спустился в окопы, понимая, что только так он сможет укрепить не всегда мотивированных солдат - и они стоят и бьются. Конечно, противник тоже не из стали и несгораемого пластика - он тоже не хочет умирать. При этом, когда читаешь, что он проходит подготовку где-нибудь в Польше управлению импортными танками - принимаешь это к сведению. Но когда проскакивает, что курсы подготовки пятидневные, - то становится ясно, кто управляет западными гробами на поле боя: экипаж за эти пять дней едва успевает изучить основные кнопки и рычаги.

В общем, как говорил Толстой, к войне нужно относиться строго и серьёзно. Генеральная битва только началась, и не факт, что она будет последней.
