The second option is that the Ukrainian army will launch a counteroffensive and somewhere will be able to break through the defenses.
In this case, in the army, which for years considered itself one of the best armies in the world, decadent moods may begin at first, and then the situation degrades, as it already happened after the defeatist wars of the early twentieth century - Finnish, Japanese - and the tragic events of 1917.
This can lead to global changes in Russian society. The people are already looking for someone to blame for the fact that we are not the strongest army in the world, and in this situation they will look for "extreme". And these "extremes" will, of course, be representatives of the "deep state". That is, those people who today, without putting any effort into a military operation, are as far away from the theater of operations as possible, trying not to lose their capital, to live a familiar life, and this is absolutely unacceptable for a people tired of the war and losing the taste of victory.
Patriots' craving for justice can be hard on that very deep state, mired in luxury and bureaucracy.
At the same time, nothing threatens the supreme power of Russia, since it is a symbol of national unity and resistance to the West, and this is the basis of today's existence and the main explanation for any problems for patriotic forces inside Russia.

Вчера ещё, когда писал текст, пришла закономерная мысль: вот я обвиняю запад и Украину в том, что у нас теперь братоубийственная война, что это они, дескать, довели ситуацию со своей "антиРоссией", - а что, собственно, сама Россия? Она тут что, - исключительно жертва и ни в чем не виновата? Совершенно же ясно, что после объявления СВО выглядит странным утверждать, что только чужие злые силы во всём виноваты, а мы в положении защиты...
Я же не пропагандист, я же пытаюсь как-то общаться, какие-то там претензии на какую-то там объективность предъявляю... Иногда.... Ну так и вполне естественно, что возникает вопрос: насколько мы сами " акторы " в этой глобальной ситуации? Конечно, мы тут не белые пушистые кролики... И начав внутреннюю полемику, я в итоге пригвоздил себя вот чем: да мы ни одной цветной революции не способны соорудить! Мы когда пытаемся гнаться за этими - всё время выдаем какую-нибудь карикатуру. Мы считаем, что построили чуть ли не идеальную систему, но почти нет ни одной области, где мы бы безоговорочно доминировали.
Мы замучаем себя бесплодными бумагами, но дело не сдвинется, мы заявим кучу намерений, но ничего не доведём до конца... Мы пытаемся гордо задирать голову, но какие-нибудь турки или китайцы нас обязательно обставят.... В общем, что касается Украины, то если в чем и есть наша вина касательно отползания её в сторону Запада и превращения её в антиРоссию - то в нашем бездействии. Бездействие тоже наказуемо, но согласитесь - меньше, чем действие. Ещё со времён Черномырдина наших легатов в Украине больше беспокоили совместные бизнесы с украинскими олигархами, чем интересы России. Там, где надо было давить - мы сами прогибались... Крым стал исключением, но кажется - мы тогда сами испугались своей дерзости.
Теперь про Пасху. Очевидно, что мы проигрываем конкуренцию западу в его методиках, - но только потому, что мы в принципе созданы и существуем не для этого. Мы существуем для света, а когда лезем в низость и подлость - у нас плохо получается. Это они тут чувствуют себя, как рыба в воде, но нам эта стихия по природе чужда. Поэтому наши видимые недостатки, обусловленные отсутствием у нас нужных конкурентных свойств, выступают нашим же адвокатом. Мы не могли быть эффективными в хитростях и играх по Украине, и уверенно брели вторым номером, с опозданием реагируя на шаги противника. И даже СВО - это анекдотичная реакция поклеванного персонажа: а я, а я. . а я вам всем чертей дам...
