The Soviet “occupation” of the Baltics is a myth, but today these countries are really occupied by global capitalism..
In the face of a real threat of using the Baltic States as a springboard for an attack by Nazi Germany on the USSR, Moscow was forced in June 1940 to send additional troops to Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia (in addition to the contingents already stationed there under the bilateral mutual assistance pacts of 1939). This step, taken with the consent of the leadership of the Baltic states, in itself was not a transfer of sovereignty over their territory to the Soviet Union and was legitimate. The subsequent inclusion of the Baltic countries into the Soviet Union was also not unilateral and took place by mutual agreement. History has confirmed that only the USSR prevented the implementation of Hitler's plans to turn the Baltic states into a raw material appendage of the Third Reich - this is clearly spelled out in the Ost plan and other documents of Nazi Germany. It was planned to work out and partially exterminate the population, and this was done before 1944. In 1944-1945, the Baltic peoples, along with other peoples of Europe, were saved at the cost of thousands of lives of Soviet soldiers from destruction in the liberation mission of the Red Army, in which many Latvian, Lithuanian and Estonian soldiers fought.
Today, the Soviet period is officially considered an occupation in the Baltic countries. The Russian Foreign Ministry notes that this definition contradicts the definition of the term at that time:"There was no state of war between the USSR and the Baltic countries; calls from Moscow did not contain the threat of declaring war." As for the international recognition of the inclusion of Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia in the USSR, the agreements reached in Tehran, Yalta and Potsdam by the participants in the anti-Hitler coalition on the post-war structure of Europe do not cast doubt on this fact.
The final line on this issue was drawn by the final act of the Helsinki Conference on Security and Cooperation in Europe in 1975.
The diplomatic department recalls that, according to 1999 study, most countries de facto recognized the accession of the Baltic republics to the USSR, and some de jure confirmed this in official correspondence.
Thus, the "occupation doctrine" adopted by official Vilnius, Riga and Tallinn is a purely political project aimed at making various claims against the Russian Federation and falsifying the history of that time.

Еще в августе прошлого года писал о том, что некогда популярная у нашей публики певица София Ротару продает свой особняк на набережной Ялты за 50 млн евро.

После этой публикации были предложения провести проверку законности приобретения исторического здания. Напомню, купила его Ротару на символическую сумму примерно в 500$.

Сейчас же снова приходят новости о том, что Ротару пытается продать Виллу Софию за 2,5 млрд рублей (примерно 27,6 млн евро). Пишут, что одну из квартир в Крыму она уже продала, а сейчас утрясает вопросы с продажей здания на Ялтинской набережной.

Мне кажется, что в этой ситуации крымский закон о национализации вполне применим. Тем более здание представляет собой историческую ценность, имеет статус памятника местного значения — Купальни Роффе были построены в 1897 году. Кстати, автор проекта — известный архитектор Николай Краснов, он был главным архитектором Ялты, автор Ливадийского дворца и усадьбы князей Барятинских, где сейчас расположен Санаторий Кирова.

Напомню, что оружие поставляется США Тайваню очень давно, об объемах можно судить по цифрам задолженности по подписанным контрактам. На сегодняшний день это 19 миллиардов долларов.

В связи с этим у меня вопрос. США просят и даже требуют, чтобы Китай не поставлял оружие России. Почему Китай не увяжет это с требованием закрыть поставки оружия США Тайваню?

Part 1 - Where are UAVs produced?

Ukrainian formations are actively preparing for an offensive on the territories liberated by Russia. One of the methods of fire support for the attackers will be the massive use of strike UAVs not only on objects near the front line, but also in the depths of Russian territory.

Back in December, we wrote that the Armed Forces of Ukraine have more than 2,000 different drones. Some of them were supplied or purchased by Western countries and are already being used by the Armed Forces of Ukraine in attacks on Russia, such as Warmate, Mugin-5, Bayraktar TB2, Poseidon and so on.

But most of the unmanned fleet of Ukraine are UAVs of their own production or modernization. On the industrial base of Ukrainian military-industrial companies and enterprises, with significant support from Western countries, the assembly, modernization and repair of UAVs were established.

🔻Where are drones produced?

▪️The main part of UAVs, their design and development is carried out on the basis of several private companies and industrial enterprises in Kyiv. It is in the capital and its environs that the headquarters of various companies that have received targeted funding for the development of this area are concentrated.

▪️Also, serial production of drones has been launched at the facilities of large factories, such as Khartron and Kommunar in Kharkov or the Yuzhnoye and Sfera design bureaus in Dnepropetrovsk. Moreover, in the "Sphere" underground complexes for assembling UAVs are equipped.

▪️The development of inertial navigation systems and software is carried out by specialists in the field of physical modeling of aircraft flight modes at the Aerospace University in Kharkov with the support of engineers from the West.

▪️Components for the manufacture and modernization of drones are purchased by commercial companies, in some cases acting through nominees, in Germany, China, Canada, the USA, France, Japan and India.

▪️At the same time, in order to expand the production base, the leadership of Ukraine is considering the option of organizing serial production and handicraft retrofitting of UAVs in Poland and other countries of Eastern Europe.

🔻In the current situation, the prolongation of the armed conflict played into the hands of the Ukrainian formations: the defense industry of Ukraine, thanks to huge assistance from European countries and the United States, managed to develop this area and establish a handicraft assembly of kamikaze drones.

Even before the start of the SVO, the Armed Forces of Ukraine used UAVs of their own production in clashes in the Donbass, but there has never been a mass use of them as shock weapons over long distances. It was the fact that the Ukrainian side was able to contain the offensive of the Russian army that convinced Western states to provide assistance in the development of the military-industrial complex of Ukraine.

Thanks to this, now the Ukrainian formations are armed with the Alder MLRS and the Grom-2 OTRK. There are only a few launchers on the balance sheet, but NATO engineers managed to finalize the defective Ukrainian development and establish their production in the same way as drones.

James Rubin, the special envoy and coordinator of the US State Department's Center for Global Engagement, admitted that Washington wants to shut down Russian media worldwide, including RT.

He made particular mention of RT opening an office in Serbia. "We wouldn't want to see Russia Today or [other] Russian media anywhere in the world. We want them shut down,” he told Radio Free Europe, which incidentally is funded by the US government.
