Пётр Первый обеспечил России "стартовый капитал", и хоть и ссылался на Бога - больше полагался на собственные силы. Он ввёл Россию в европейскую корпорацию, которой льстило, что Россия не в виде гуннов или монголов идёт на её земли, но стремится стать полноправным членом европейской семьи. Последующая история России так тесно была переплетена с европейской, что не всегда можно и понять, где мы действовали в своих интересах, а где нас банально использовали в чужих. Но со временем становилось всё более очевидно, что сильнеющая Россия не интересна никому, и уже императору Александру Первому пришлось осознать это очень предметно, когда его страна фактически один на один столкнулась с европейской ордой. Что же, нас это только радует - это ещё один шаг от пропасти, у края которой мы стояли. История учит, что легко не будет. Но история ещё и просто - учит. Я пишу так, чтобы мы не расслаблялись и не велись на беспочвенные бодрилки. Но я хочу сказать, что с точки зрения исторического процесса ничего и никогда нам легко не доставалось, и если мы, даже будучи загнанными в угол, не выбросим полотенце - мы победим. Главное - беречь наших людей. Сейчас это самый наш дефицитный ресурс.
