If we win, we will defend our independence, we will get a new status in the economy, politics, and history, we will work on our mistakes (the army, working with the youth, working with the elites), and we will continue to develop.
If we lose, the country won't exist (it will be squashed up into colonies), and our defeat will brutally affect everyone. Not a single citizen of Russia will sit out; some will go into hiding, others will become guestworkers (many will leave the country)
We have everything we need to win: a leader, weapons, talented managers in the economy and banking sector, and a united people who, for the most part, understand what is really going on.

Дальше Запад должен был только поставлять оружие борющимся с Россией режимам и ждать результата.
Путчи в Казахстане и Белоруссии были подавлены. Молдавию Санду при помощи проамериканского лобби в спецслужбах раскачивает, но армия, которой придётся непосредственно воевать, не рвётся в конфликт, и пока что заставить её не удаётся.
Тем не менее даже конфликт России с одной лишь Украиной представлялся вашингтонским обкомам достаточным. Украина — большое государство. И оно отлично подходит для театра военных действий против России… Судьба Украины никого не интересовала НИКОГДА!
По состоянию на 1992 год она составляла треть России по населению, 80% по военной мощи и 100% по возможностям промышленности. Американцы не заметили изменений, произошедших за последние 20 лет в России, и, продолжая исходить из сопоставимости украинского и российского потенциалов (не считая отсутствия у Киева ядерного оружия, что в данной ситуации играло для США в плюс), полагали, что брошенной ими на украинскую чашу весов военной и финансовой помощи будет достаточно, чтобы выиграть у России конвенциональную войну.
Конечно, вы мне можете возразить: «Не могли американцы с их мощными разведывательными структурами так ошибаться».

Источники с Украины убеждали, что режим в Киеве не пользуется поддержкой населения и что оное население с радостью воспользуется предоставленной Россией возможностью от этого режима избавиться и принять дружественную Москве власть.
Точно так же и американцы основные сведения о состоянии дел в России и на Украине, о соотношении их потенциалов получали от российской оппозиции.
Передаваемая из этих источников информация не могла быть объективной, но она полностью укладывалась в американское представление о мире. Масса формально не связанных друг с другом источников убеждали американское руководство в абсолютной правильности его оценки соотношения сил между Украиной и Россией.
В конечном итоге США поверили, что украинско-российский конфликт полностью соответствует их шаблону проведения колониальных войн, за исключением того, что одна из сторон будет обладать ядерным оружием. Однако российский ядерный потенциал США полагали нейтрализовать тем, что войну с Россией должна была вести неядерная держава.
США были уверены, что Россия проиграет и, чтобы уйти от поражения, Москва применит ядерное оружие по Украине.
Американцы рассчитывали на сплочение планеты в осуждении страны, применившей ОМП по противнику, таким оружием не обладавшему. Да и для окончательного разрыва воспоминаний об «одном народе» и сильнейшего удара по идее русского мира, далеко уходящего за границы России, нельзя было придумать ничего лучше, чем ядерный удар по Украине, которая была большой территорией этого русского мира за пределами России.

Да и для окончательного разрыва воспоминаний об «одном народе» и сильнейшего удара по идее русского мира, далеко уходящего за границы России, нельзя было придумать ничего лучше, чем ядерный удар по Украине, которая была большой территорией этого русского мира за пределами России.
Но глядя, как развиваются события, мы можем с твёрдой уверенностью сказать: «Россия переиграла США».
Стратегия США по украинско-российскому конфликту пошла не по их сценарию, поэтому сейчас мы видим попытки америкосов раскачать ситуацию в Молдавии и Грузии.
