Unsurprisingly, Russia completely rejects the “Rules Based Order” ploy to pretend to Europe that the US is willing to leave parts of Ukraine like Lugansk and Donetsk in Russian hands and keep Crimea too as long as the US private sector owns most of this property, which of course is inconceivable in principle.

Professor Michael Hudson says the idea of breaking Russia into five or six countries is an absurd distraction.

The United States wants to control the world outside of Russia. Not defeat Russia itself.

The Ukraine war has always been about turning Europe into a dependency.
