🇨🇦 The Daily Mail has told the story of a Canadian pensioner who was too poor and ill to live in his country.
"I don't want to die, but I don't want to be homeless," said Les Landry, 65, and he applied for euthanasia. The man eventually got his doctor's approval for euthanasia. and is now waiting for a second doctor's approval.
It seems the Canadian authorities have come up with a pretty good loophole to keep the budget down. You could just let people die under a simplified programme. Even online, why not? It seems that the same Germany is already ready to adopt this life hack. We have to fight Putin somehow.

Like I have long said about politics, "What they say means nothing, what they DO says everything." Looks like Oleg Tsarev agrees. As usual, he's right.
"Medvedev issued another eschatological text about the confrontation with the soulless West. The patriotic public is pissed with boiling water, and we will try to figure out why an intelligent Russian dignitary of liberal views suddenly began to portray a distraught old man in the taiga?
Often in modern politics, the principle of "say or do" works. This means that undesirable actions for which there is a strong public demand can be replaced by appropriate rhetoric. Do you remember how often the previous Ukrainian President Poroshenko called for an uncompromising fight against Russian aggression and at the same time negotiated mutually beneficial commercial schemes with Moscow? Moreover, these schemes could be implemented only under the guise of this rhetoric, there is no other way. Or remember, a few years ago protests broke out in Greece against the government's credit policy and for leaving the eurozone. On the wave of protests, the coalition of the radical left "SYRIZA" rises and, in early elections, receives a majority in parliament and forms, together with the right (!) Government, headed by the socialist Tsipras. And after the elections, unexpectedly for voters and members of the coalition, he signs in Europe a plan for overcoming the debt crisis with new loans and new packages of obligations to creditors. So it goes.
What is Dmitry Medvedev counting on? I think that at some point a figure of undoubted exceptional patriotism may be needed who will be able to conclude a completely non-triumphant peace treaty. So that it doesn’t work out like with Medinsky in Turkey. So Medvedev is getting ready...

Anti-nazi, anti-austerity protest in Nuremberg, Germany. I lived in Bavaria, in Bamberg, in 1981 and '82, as an occupant in the uS Army, about an hour's train ride from Nuremburg. I was there many times. A super conservative and traditional city, people would not be out in the streets protesting unless they were really angry. GOOD, they have every right to be. Good luck to them and God bless them, may they overthrow and bure down the nazis who rule them today. Davai!✊🏻👊🏻

Hopefully this device helps track ukrop artillery position locations where they hit Donesk from.
The enemy cannot escape: in the South-Donetsk direction, the crews of the portable reconnaissance and fire control systems "Aistenok" are counter-battery fighting
◽️ The Aistenok radar system is able to track the flight of shells and determine the location of enemy guns or the point of impact of ammunition. The main task of the complex is to determine the coordinates of enemy artillery and adjust the fire of their guns.
🔎 The complex is capable of detecting moving ground targets at a distance of up to 20 kilometers and identifying enemy artillery firing positions at a distance of up to 15 kilometers.

Death of Mammon: Children's clubs, hospitals and swimming pools will open in malls
The terrible fire in the Mega shopping center near Moscow has become a symbol of what is happening with shopping centers in Russia. They are dying. Consumer dinosaurs have no place in the new food chain. But what to do with their gigantic corpses - do not really burn them.
In Russia, such a form of leisure as a family Saturday trip to shopping centers is disappearing - simply because these centers will now begin to close en masse. Tsargrad sees no reason to shed tears, but offers to draw far-reaching conclusions.
Die by the hundreds
Sad news for business: large shopping centers are no longer needed in Russia. Izvestia experts believe that in the country may close every second shopping center in the coming year. Two hundred are already bankrupt or near bankruptcy, with at least a hundred more to join soon. But this apocalyptic forecast is ambivalent.
On the one hand, the closure of a business is always the loss of jobs. In the case of the shopping center, security guards, cleaners, security guards, marketers, some middle managers and other managers lose their jobs.
On the other hand, the maniacal desire of business and the state to build these temples of consumption everywhere has long caused irritation and bewilderment among sane people. Irritation - because a person simply does not need so many things, bewilderment - because before there was an understanding that this whole holiday of life is by no means forever.
Zero wishers
The reasons are obvious. This is the departure of generous foreign tenants. And a sharp decline in interest in catering due to the financial problems of the population. And domestic tenants have the same problems - profits are declining, there is nothing to pay rent with. Plus, the rise of online shopping - people saw that the same things can be purchased online for much cheaper (with all the risks and disadvantages of this method of shopping).
The business plan "Now I will invest in the shopping center and will cut coupons for the rest of my life" failed. And it's not even about a special operation: the collapse of an unhealthy economic model built on the unwinding of a consumption spiral is inevitable in any country, the only question is timing. Even globally, our small planet simply cannot withstand such a reckless waste of resources that Western society has allowed itself in recent decades.
It is now impossible to sell a shopping center in Russia. In October, the largest bank in the country put up for sale 13 shopping centers in different regions from Siberia to the Moscow region, the total result is zero applications.
Most likely, they will be doomed to bankruptcy or some kind of re-profiling. Maybe there are some individual specialists who are ready to create a miracle, but this will become an exception rather than a possible trend,
- indicates "Kommersant". And let's think about what to do now with these unnecessary shopping centers or the territory freed from under them.
So what?

It is clear that it is possible to build housing, regular human settlements, but this is a dead end. In Russia, and so the dominance of high-rise buildings.
The shopping center can be converted into a small business of production and services with preferential rental rates; the average size of the store is quite consistent with the size of a hairdressing salon or atelier. Rental rates are one of the biggest dead ends in the development of entrepreneurship in Russia.
Modern shopping centers are ideal for organizing cultural and exhibition spaces. As a rule, there are places for both large forms and chamber expositions. True, we have so many temples of trade that it is very difficult to recruit a decent culture for them. But there is a rich idea: to create a museum of consumer idiocy in one of them. At the entrance guests will be met by a gigantic iPhone.
For schools in modern shopping centers there is too much glass and fragile structures, but it is quite possible to organize hospitals in some of them. The covid hospital was located in the Moskva automobile shopping center.
The centers can still be given to children, but rather not for schools, but for extracurricular activities. Even the Bolsheviks, who did not differ in love for historical memory, at one time opened a children's chess club in the office of Alexander III in the Anichkov Palace, where Mikhail Botvinnik taught. Compartments for shops in pretentious shopping centers are all the more suitable for organizing various circles. The experience of my beloved Chelyabinsk is interesting here, where special zones are already being organized in shopping centers . In the TRC "Focus" will be held master classes, meetings with interesting people. Here you can work on computers, play consoles, board games (football, air hockey, etc.). All services will be provided free of charge, no rent is charged from the organizers either - all the same, the squares are empty.
It makes sense to take into account another, much more blasphemous communist experience - an outdoor pool on the site of the Cathedral of Christ the Savior. This pool no longer exists, and thank God, but digging a swimming pit on the spot, for example, the European shopping center or Yerevan Plaza, is an unambiguously charitable idea.
In general, there is a choice. We will make one or another verdict in each specific case. In the meantime, you can rejoice at what has happened:
The orgy of consumption is over. Counted - wept.
