◾The Anti-Defamation League (ADL) has emailed The Grayzone a defense of the Azov Battalion and refused to condemn the Pentagon for honoring a veteran of the group who sports Nazi-inspired tattoos.
A November 9 email from the Anti-Defamation League to The Grayzone provided a twisted defense of Ukraine’s Azov Battalion. Despite its self-proclaimed “anti-hate” mission, the ADL insisted in the email it “does not” consider Azov as the “far right group it once was.”

💢 The Russian ambassador in Mexico receives a posthumous award for the deceased journalist Daria Duguina from the Mexican Journalists Club.

On Wednesday the posthumous award was given to the Russian journalist Daria Duguina, daughter of the Russian philosopher Alexander Duguin.

Darya Dugin was killed on August 20 when the car she was driving exploded in the Moscow region. As reported by the Russian Investigative Committee, an explosive device with 400 grams of TNT was placed in the lower part of the vehicle on the driver's side.

Meanwhile, Donetsk city center is getting shelled again today. My friend and comrade Alexander Sladkov had a chat with a top artillery Commander working in Donbass. He writes today -

"ANSWER? REACTION? SUPPRESSION OF THE ENEMY ARTILLERY SHOOTING AT THE CITY?

The opinion of a very authoritative artilleryman, a graduate of the Academy of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, which he just expressed to me:

“I don’t understand why we don’t answer. I do not understand what is going on. What is this, a "double integral"?! Why can't we wipe out the place where they are shooting at Donetsk from the face of the earth? After all, there are all the possibilities for this. Up to the point of removing a nuclear warhead from the "Mace" and fuck her with a non-nuclear charge along Bankovaya. Until we destroy the center of Kyiv, the shelling of Donetsk will continue.”

My opinion may not coincide with the author of this statement, but it does.

Мое мнение может и не совпадать с автором этого высказывания, но оно совпадает.

❗️American journalist Deborah Armstrong known for her objective coverage of human rights violations in Donbass by Ukrainian government, support of Faina Savenkova and crusade against the infamous Mirotvorets website, has reported a first success – UNICEF appears to have finally taken the additional step of making an actual statement to Ukraine, asking Kiev to take action to remove the names of minors from Mirotvorets.

As reported by RIA Novosti on December 7, 2022, UNICEF’s statement came following a UN Security Council Meeting on Tuesday in which Russian Permanent Representative to the UN Vasily Nebenzya spoke about the 327 children whose names have been added to the notorious database. Nebenzya asked what UNICEF was doing about this and what the organization’s position was on the publication of children’s personal data on the internet.

For years, young Faina and others targeted by Mirotvorets have appealed to international human rights groups such as The Red Cross, UNICEF and other but all they have received in response was silence, or platitudes.

The notorious Mirotvorets database discloses the private data of those it targets such as their home addresses, phone numbers and other personal information. It includes the names of more than 100,000 people including hundreds of children like Faina Savenkova, a 14-year-old from Lugansk who was added to the hitlist after speaking before a UN Security Council at the age of 12. The youngest child added to the list is only 9 years old.

Mirotvorets website calls their searchable database “Purgatory”. In twisted minds of Ukrainian nationalists anyone named on this kill list, whether they are children from Donbass, journalists who write about Donbass, or dissidents not in lockstep with Kiev, are said to already be in “purgatory”.

The very existence of such website and its endorsement and support by the government of Ukraine with eyes of the collective West conveniently looking elsewhere removes any questions about justification of Russian special military operation. Not only the Ukrainian regime has allowed this hit list to exist, but it integrated it into government structures as a part of Center for Countering Disinformation (CCD) of Ukraine’s Security and Defense Council.

Taking international action against such a notorious directory endorsing murders and using neural recognition systems to help Nazis find potential victims was long due. However, it may be not a coincidence that UN structures finally took some action, and the core reason for it is likely not Nebenzya’s speech.

❗️It is quite possible that the story is more interesting. Looks like the founder of Mirotvorets Roman Zaitsev has some kind of disagreement with Vladimir Zelensky and in the end of November he did criticize the Ukrainian president calling him a liar with hands and wallet full of blood and virtually accusing him of treason.

Spiders in a jar are starting to eat each other. Maybe it’s not long before we see Zelensky himself on Mirotvorets list and that would be a pleasant sight. Still, while in Ukraine nationalists could be preparing to turn Zelensky into a sacrificial lamb, in the West he is still seen as the face of Ukraine and his words weigh much more.

We are in Petrovsky this evening, shelling is also heavy here, but it's ALWAYS heavy here... Of course, we will be driving back to the center soon.
