I am VERY happy and proud to see our guys moving into Avdeevka. It's about time! But I cannot forget that I was in Avdeevka with VOSTOK in early 2016, and I mean IN UKROP POSITIONS. Don't believe me? See for yourself -

Russian soldiers occupy AFU positions in Avdeevka direction - how trenches are being stormed at the front

Footage shot from a Russian army reconnaissance drone has appeared. The video shows the work of an assault group occupying the Ukrainian armed forces positions in the Avdeevka direction.

After heavy artillery fire, corrected from the copter, Ukrainian soldiers had to crawl out of their trenches. Next, the Russian fighters began to move in and occupy the former positions of the enemy.

I hate to show it, but it must be seen. I saw it myself, yesterday. You see it too, and do something about it.

A representative in the Council of the DPR, Maria Pirogova, died today as a result of shelling in Donetsk.

Previously, Maria had visited various cities of Donbass, including Debaltsevo, with humanitarian missions. She had organized creative master classes within the framework of "The Children of the Republic" program. She also ran a Telegram channel on helping people that suffered from the military conflict.

The video footage is awful. Her mother arrived at the place of her death very quickly.

- Will such footage be shown on Western channels?

The company that supply food to soldiers and officers in Russian military units could become the new owner of KFC in Russia.

The AmRest restaurant holding company, which operates Kentucky Fried Chicken outlets in Russia, has announced the long-awaited and drawn-out sale of the business. The buyer is Almira LLC and the estimated value of the deal is €100m.

Almira LLC, the sole catering company, is a counterparty to Voentorg, supplying food to military canteens. As of 2021, the company employs 270 people and its total revenue for the year is 448 million rubles. Grigory Morozov, CEO of Almira, would not comment on a possible purchase of KFC's Russian assets.

Interesting news, and important, (and from a great channel, BTW) but mostly shared for the pic. And yes, I do love me some Kentucky Fried Chicken, as I have since I was a little kid with an age in the single digits.

Eight years ago tonight, December 7th, 2014. my first night in Donetsk, at the Red Cat hostel, still one of the most iconic destinations in Donetsk.

Tourists and poseurs can pay a few hundred dollars a night to stay at Donbass Palace, which was the gatdam Gestapo headquarters during the nazi occupation, but for me and a lot of other legendary soldiers, Red Cat was good enough for us.

⚡️ Из-за обстрела четыре района г Донецка обесточены ( Ленинский, Куйбышевский, Кировский и Киевский).
⚡️ Due to the shelling, four districts of Donetsk are de-energized (Leninsky, Kuibyshevsky, Kirovsky and Kyiv).

From The Commander Alexander Khodakovsky -

"I don't know any of the business travelers who would say that he doesn't like Donetsk. The city is also beautiful because eight years of life on the front lines have cleaned it up of any idle spirit. "Tusnya" of any Russian rear city looks like dancing at a wake in Donetsk. The city fights, overcomes, does not give up - this is truly a hero city, - however, like any city in Donbass ...

I have no right to tell the strategists what to do, but from the point of view of universal justice, any available offensive potential that can be used to take, for example, another Pavlovka, should be directed to the liberation of Donetsk. It is difficult to explain to people why, somewhere in the distant frontiers, we spend our resources on tasks of less priority, while Donetsk is like a lamb to the slaughter."

Although a lot of the proof has been scrubbed from the internet, I looked into it pretty deeply when the story first broke. I saw enough to convince me it's real. The only thing stupider than an idiot who believes anything is an idiot who refuses to see the truth right before their eyes.

Oleg Tsarev about the attacks on airbases inside Russia -

"The Armed Forces of Ukraine, with strikes on airfields, put our Ministry of Defense on the splits. If we accept the version that it was NATO drones that attacked our strategic aviation, then, according to Russian nuclear doctrine, it is necessary to strike NATO in response. If it is Ukraine that has created such drones that can bypass our air defense (and in Russia one of the best air defense in the world) and strike at a distance of up to a thousand kilometers, then the question arises about the professional suitability of the employees of our Ministry of Defense: Ukraine was able to create such drones, and the Russian Ministry of Defense is not.

Apparently, the second version is still accepted for execution. At the same time, there is no guarantee that the West has not adopted such a scheme of work in which it will supply its weapons, but they will be served in the public field as if they were assembled in Ukraine. Now there is a danger that Ukraine will soon begin to assemble Abrams tanks and Boeing military aircraft. And what are we going to do then?

In any case, now the residents of both Moscow and other regions of the Russian Federation, who until now knew about the NMD only from TV, will have to get used to the idea that the front line will pass through their cities and at any moment a Ukrainian drone could fall on their heads ."

Oleg Tsarev on the West's "price ceiling" scheme, and Moscow's failure to deal with it -

"How will Russia respond to the introduction of a "price ceiling" for oil?

Several response options are currently being discussed. The most radical and unlikely is a complete ban on the sale of oil to states that supported the restriction, including if raw materials are not purchased from Russia directly, but through intermediary countries or even their chain. The second is a ban on the sale of raw materials under contracts that include a “price ceiling” as a condition, regardless of which country is indicated in the contract by the recipient. And the third is the introduction of a minimum price for the sale of oil (price floor) or the so-called indicative price, at which the maximum discount of Russian export Urals oil in relation to the reference grade Brent will be determined, and if a certain discount is exceeded, sales will be prohibited.

The statements that are now circulating in the media indicate that Russia will not take the promised extreme tough measures against countries that have introduced a cap on the cost of oil (price ceiling), and our Government is looking for ways to continue selling oil to these countries. Let me remind you that the first persons of the state have repeatedly stated earlier that Russia will impose a complete embargo on the sale of oil to countries that have acceded to the price cap agreement. There was even information that a certain normative act was being prepared to ban the sale of oil to such countries.

If, indeed, tough measures are not taken, then, firstly, it is not very productive to say one thing and do another: who will believe our threats next time? Secondly, a unique situation has now developed that, if it develops properly, will allow the West to twist the arms, because right now there is a shortage of oil products all over the world, and then such a possibility may not be.

Those options that are discussed by the Russian government (price floor or the maximum allowable discount) are very beneficial for officials and for Western consumers. The oilmen will begin to circumvent sanctions using murky schemes by attracting intermediaries who will buy oil according to the scheme approved in Russia and sell to Western countries according to the scheme approved in the West. But, as you understand, schemes with intermediaries are the easiest to steal into the shadows, they are very beneficial for the participants in the scheme and not very beneficial for the state. The main thing is that such schemes will clearly work to fulfill the task set by Western players - so that the Russian budget does not receive money. In addition to attracting intermediaries, one can also play with the cost of chartering tankers and the delivery of oil itself. In other words, Russia will receive three thimbles, one of which should contain foreign exchange earnings. But whether it will be there or not, it is not clear to either Western regulatory authorities or Russian.

Among other things, I already wrote that in the case of establishing the very fact of the "ceiling" of prices for Russian products, the principle is important. We should not agree with such an approach and should severely punish for it. The West is afraid of this approach of ours. That is why they have now set such a “ceiling” so that Russia does not lose anything. The main thing is that Russia should accept the terms of the game and resign itself to the fact that it will sell oil not at the prices it wants, but at the prices it is assigned.

When Western countries seized gold and foreign exchange reserves and imposed sanctions on Russia, I wrote that we must immediately stop gas supplies to countries that impose sanctions and demand that our money be returned to us. We've been robbed, and we're playing nobility. It wasn't done. Moreover, we waited until Europe got ready, stocked up on gas, and then our gas pipelines were blown up. Now we can cut off gas supplies, we can not stop - as a threat it will no longer work. Now we can repeat the same scenario with oil.

Comrade rulers, introduce an embargo on the sale of oil to countries that have introduced a "price ceiling" on our raw materials. Do for once what you promised."
