RT crews of Murad Gazdiev and Vyacheslav Guz, traveling in two separate cars that were following each other, came under mine fire from the Ukrainian armed forces. The journalists were returning from filming from Kremennaya in the LPR when the Ukrainian military started bombing the road.

Shrapnel hit Gazdiev’s car, and the only thing that saved the passengers is that the car was armored. Nobody was injured. The video shows the moment and the aftermath of the arrival.

Ukrainian troops often shell this road as it’s used to transport military equipment. This time our war correspondents, who have long been in the crosshairs of the nationalists, came under fire by accident. A hunt has been declared for them.

Более того, очевидно, что один из тех, кого цинично убивают выстрелом в голову, в самых первых кадрах двигается — он, очевидно, жив. “I was very surprised by his immersion in details, in the nuances of the events taking place, and quite far from Cuba. But he knew and was able to analyze everything that was happening in the world. It was very interesting and useful for me to hold these meetings with him,” the Russian leader said.

The President of Cuba, together with Vladimir Putin, unveiled a monument to Fidel Castro in Moscow today. The monument was placed in the Sokol district, on Novopeschanaya street. The choice of location is not accidental - there is a square nearby, named after the Cuban revolutionary, which in turn was named so because of its proximity to the street of Salvador Allende, another foreign socialist leader. Today, the President of the Island of Freedom held talks with Vladimir Putin, the topic of the talks was announced as “issues of relations between the two countries,” details were not disclosed. In this interview, Shukhrat talks about going to the front as a volunteer. At some point, some POWs his unit took came off of a major high and started talking. The clip above is what they described. Earlier, his unit found the facility he was talking about.

The German nazis occupied Stalino (now called "Donetsk") for exactly 700 days, between 16 October 1941 and 5 September 1943. At the start of World War II, the population of Stalino was 507,000. After the war, the population was 175,000. The 4/4 mine had a shaft 365 meters (1,200 feet) deep and 3X5 meters across. Both living people, including whole families, and dead bodies were thrown down the shaft. 75,000 is the MINIMUM number. When the city was liberated by the Red Army, the shaft was only 65 meters (200 feet) deep.

🪖A soldier codenamed 'Woods' from the Vostok battalion is the subject of our documentary Azov’s Last Stand. For about two months he, together with other servicemen, participated in a siege at Azovstal.
