This beautiful video is one of the exact videos that inspired me to come to Donbass in 2014. I saw this vid and thought, "I would be proud to die beside this man." So I came, we did fight together in the same Battalion, VOSTOK, in 2014 and 2015, we became and remain very good friends.

The first is a 19-year-old volunteer and mortarman, whose call sign is 'Zipper'. He was 11 years old when the war began.
🔹"People in Donetsk people got used to it. We had to go to school anyway despite the shelling," he says, adding that it was scary, "but what can you do?"
The second is a 20-year-old volunteer 'Masik'. He's been friends with 'Zipper' since their school days, and is also a 120mm mortarman.
🔹"It's going great, we hit a BMP recently," he says.
Quadcopters and reconnaissance correct the fire.

❗️💥 Donetsk is again under fire of the Armed Forces of Ukraine: a direct hit on a residential building, a civilian was wounded
This morning, Ukrainian militants shelled Donetsk again. Under fire Kuibyshevsky, Kievsky and Kirovsky districts.
According to the JCCC, from 07:15 a.m., about 10 NATO-caliber shells have been fired at the city.
"According to eyewitnesses, after the shelling, there is heavy smoke in the Kievsky district (Privokzalny microdistrict). A direct hit on a residential building on Artema Street is reported," Donetsk Mayor Aleksey Kulemzin said.
Also, according to him, houses of the private sector and a regular bus were damaged on Artyom Street. Driver is wounded.
