Because falling down is always easier than gaining height. But you remember: wings historically prevent us from crawling. Forward, together, in the name of light and with God!".

Not exactly a good sign. Anybody else think it looks A LOT like the RuAF just killed a bunch of fish and missed a fat target full of US mercs and at least 4 vehicles only a few hundred meters away? Maybe that's why that punk-ass merc is laughing. I doubt my friends surrounded in Krasny Liman are laughing tonight. We will certainly see who is laughing tomorrow...
I am not a "doomer", but neither am I an idiot or a liar. One of my best friends is on the Front not far from there, where he is a target designator for artillery and airstrikes. Last time I talked to him (a couple of weeks ago) he had high praise for RuAF helicopter pilots, but said that Russian fixed wing attack aircraft often miss their targets by as much as "600 meters" because the pilots are too afraid of MANPADS to get close enough to their targets to do the job. This looks to me like a perfect example of exactly that. What does it look like to you? What do you think it looks like to my friends in Krasny Liman? Asking for a friend...

Seems the situation around Krasny Liman has stabilized and there is no cauldron. Russian reinforcements are well on their way.
Also keep in mind, ukraine is pulling their men from Soledar of all places to reinforce Liman. This is a terrible, desperate move.

When I see THAT, it will bring tears of joy, and I will thank Russia for backing up OUR Heroes at Krasney Liman. And God help us all together liberate Kiev before the New Year. But never forget that since Girkin's ignoble and cowardly retreat from Slaviansk, DPR forces have NEVER retreated a single meter in 8 fucking years. "Oh, we kicked their ass at Krasny Liman. Nothing is guaranteed as yet, but you should all be proud of the Heroic Krasny Liman Garrison and the Valiant Reinforcements from the 58th Army.
AND NEVER, NEVER again doubt the Russian Warrior. Whatever happens, the Ukrainian army has already suffered a massive setback at Krasny Liman."

Still waiting to see the "ass kicking" and the "Russian reinforcements", Gleb. Let us know when "what's coming" gets there. That would be great, thanks. Maybe you'll get a medal. And if you can ask those "Valiant Reinforcements" of "Russian Warriors" to hurry the fuck up and get there, that would be great too, so maybe the 4,000 LDPR (real) Heroes (and the thousands of innocent civilians) defending Krasny Liman against 15,000 US and ukrop nazis don't all get their fucking medals posthumously.

Krasny Liman has fallen. Some idiots and liars say and believe there was "an orderly retreat". Bullshit. The nazis blew the last bridge out of town and so any of our soldiers and civilians who are still left in Krasney Liman will have to walk out, there is no way to go by vehicle now. And I must make a small correction - they will first have to SWIM across the river, and THEN walk, down "The Road of Life", which is now, being under ukrop observation and "fire control" (i.e., "constant shelling"), more aptly called "The Road of Death". Idiots who think this is a "minor setback" are just that, idiots, on the level of the "Q" dipshits in the uSA who make posts about Trump coming back to take the Presidency or Obama and the Clintons already being in Gitmo. Idiots.

⚡️🇷🇺🇺🇦⚔️ Situation at the #Lyman Section at 15:00 on 1 Oct 2022⚡️
By mid-afternoon it was clear. The decision had been made to withdraw troops and abandon #Lyman.
After a video emerged from the eastern outskirts of #Zarechnoye with a blown-up bridge (49.021573, 37.952583) occupied by the AFU, it became clear that the entire "Road of Life" was already under AFU control.
Russian artillery continues to impact suitable AFU units, but while the focus has so far been on #Lyman, Ukrainian formations are now targeting the blockade of #Kremennaya and taking control of the reservoirs on the #Zherebets river.
It is likely that the active phase of the AFU offensive from #Kupyansk and #Redkodub to #Svatovo, through which the Russian Forces' supply routes pass, will resume shortly.
The loss of #Lyman is, first of all, a serious damage to the reputation of the Russian Federation. Because since yesterday, this is already the territory of Russia (even though the treaties have not yet been ratified - this is not so important).
There is discussion in pro-military circles that after ratification on 5 October, hostilities will begin in full force: a wide range of weapons and military equipment will be lifted into the air, all hell will break loose in western Ukraine, and then we will get on with life.
You know, if all this is there and has not been exploited within the SMO, why would anyone think that anything will change on 5 October?

Ramzan Kadyrov on Liman failure -
"I have always said: there is nothing better than the voiced truth, albeit bitter, offensive, but the truth. This is the only way to move forward. Therefore, I cannot remain silent about what happened in Krasny Liman.
The defense of this section was led by the commander of the Central Military District, Colonel-General Alexander Lapin. The same Lapin, who received the star of the Hero of Russia for the capture of Lisichansk, although de facto he was not there and was not around. Lapin was also given over to the troops of the Western Military District.
The colonel-general deployed mobilized fighters from the LPR and other units on all frontiers of the Liman direction, but did not provide them with the necessary communications, interaction and the supply of ammunition. Two weeks ago, Major General Commander of the Akhmat Special Forces, my dear BROTHER Apty Alaudinov, personally reported to me that our fighters could become an easy target. In turn, I informed Valery Gerasimov, Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, about the danger. But the general assured me that he had no doubts about Lapin's leadership talent and did not believe that a retreat was possible in Krasny Liman and its environs.
A week later, Lapin moves his headquarters to Starobelsk, a hundred kilometers from his subordinates, while he himself sits in Lugansk. How can you quickly manage units, being 150 km away from them? Due to the lack of elementary military logistics, today we have left several settlements and a large piece of territory.
It's not a shame that Lapin is mediocre. And the fact that he is covered at the top by the leaders in the General Staff. If I had my way, I would have demoted Lapin to the rank of private, would have deprived him of his awards and, with a machine gun in his hands, would have sent him to the front lines to wash away his shame with blood.
Army nepotism will not lead to good. In the army, it is necessary to appoint people of a strong character, courageous, principled, who worry about their fighters, who tear their teeth for their soldier, who know that a subordinate cannot be left without help and support. There is no place for nepotism in the army, especially in difficult times."

Khodakovsky's optimistic, honest, and super-diplomatic assessment of the Liman fuck-up.
In spite of epic Field Grade failures by the Russian General Staff, VOSTOK, as always, performed with brilliance and bravery beyond any expectation. I love, trust and admire Khodakovsky and VOSTOK, my old unit, and the same goes for the Russian and especially Chechen soldiers who have fought here beside us. As for the General Staff, Kadyrov's solution should be applied to every Russian General from Gerasimov on down.

"Alexander Khodakovsky, [10/1/2022 10:24 AM]
Regardless of how the Krasnoliman epic ends, the guys don't even fully realize what they did. Ukraine needed the momentum, needed to seize the momentum after the Kharkov offensive, and pressurize us on all fronts. They were on heat, they had resources, quite realistic plans, initiative, after all.... They were going to push in the direction of Mariupol, for which they were transferring forces and means near Ugledar - but they encountered resistance in Krasny Liman and got stuck.
To break our guys, they had to cancel their plans and take resources from other directions, but the momentum had already been lost, the shock of the retreat had already passed, the mobilization had begun. If not for the Red Liman factor - apart from the Kharkov fiasco, many more problems awaited us... Assessing the situation our battalion was already preparing for the battles in the encirclement and began to form positions at the line of the retreat. We doubted that the enemy would get through us - the terrain conditions helped us - but on the right and on the left he could break through the defenses and get into our rear. Retreating chaotically, getting into a mess and getting lost was not an option. So we had to circle the defenses, we decided. But someone had the guts to hold out and fight, and the processes went not in favor of the Ukrainians. Even if Krasny Liman's garrison falls - it has fulfilled its super-task."

More commentary from a brilliant military Commander and true Statesman, Alexander Khodakovsky -
"I understand Kadyrov, I understand Prigozhin, - but it is still unfortunate that the heat of passion has reached such levels. Obviously, the "old-school" is now fighting for its positions, while the new generation is striving for real power and control in the army - and if the process of integrating "fresh blood" had been more harmonious, the conflict would not have spilled over into the public arena. A couple of weeks ago I wrote about it veiledly, saying that some military commanders get high posts, but don't get real power - I meant exactly Surovikin.
I do not know him personally, but I have heard a lot of decent things about him. By the way, I have not heard anything bad about Lapin either, but he has the honor of belonging to that very "old-school" group, and has fallen under the radar due to "corporate" ties. I wish that internal conflicts and contradictions didn't become public knowledge - but who will forbid Ramzan Kadyrov and Evgeny Prigozhin to share their opinions?"
