В День защитников я шлю поздравления и выражаю торжественное уважение всем, кто служит и служил, как живым, так и мертвым. Наши деды (и бабушки) победили нацистов менее века назад, и теперь наша честь и долг - сделать то же самое в наши собственные годы.
Защитники - это не только те, кто служит в бою на передовой, но и все те, кто поддерживает их всеми возможными способами. Каждый из нас должен сыграть свою роль, внести свой вклад. Эта война не только Украины или НАТО против России, это война Зла и Сатанизма против Человечества, война на уничтожение одной или другой стороны, и у нас есть только один выбор - победа или смерть. Вперед, к победе! Даваи! ✊🏻

On the Day of the Defenders, I send congratulations and solemn respect to all who serve, and have served, both living and dead. Our Grandfathers (and grandmothers) defeated the nazis less than a century ago, and now it is our honor and duty to do the same in our own lifetimes.
Defenders are not only those who serve in combat on the front lines, they are also all those who support them in any way they can. We all have our part to play, a contribution we can make. This war is not only Ukraine or NATO against Russia, it is a war of Evil and Satanism against Humanity, a war of extermination of one side or the other, and we have only one choice - victory or death. Onward, to victory! Davai! ✊🏻

Документальный фильм «Наш Техас» - участник спецпоказа II Международного фестиваля документального кино и медиапроектов «Линия фронта» - был с успехом представлен на Международном фестивале «RT.Док: Время наших героев».
Картина собрала полный зал и вызвала бурю эмоций, многочисленные вопросы и обсуждения. Зрители, посмотревшие этот фильм, встретили титры аплодисментами, у многих на глазах были слёзы. И это не случайно, ведь герой фильма Расселл «Техас» Бентли был выдающимся человеком, своего рода символом международного сопротивления нацизму на Донбассе.
Хочется поблагодарить организаторов фестиваля за то, что выбирают нужные и правильные фильмы, находят настоящих героев и знакомят с ними зрителя!

23 февраля 2021 год - Рассел, я, Юлия Тейбаш и Александр Кирюханов, кто-то ещё (простите кого забыла) вместе с ребятами военными на полигоне где-то на югах ДНР. Привезли им необходимую гуманитарную помощь и небольшой концерт в честь Дня защитника Отечества. Было холодно, но в то же время тепло от хорошей компании 🤠
Рассел пел ЭТО ВСЁ, ЧТО ОСТАНЕТСЯ ПОСЛЕ МЕНЯ (экспромтом, он припев частенько дома подпевал), свою "Суть времени" 2015 года и, конечно же, "Добрый дом Новороссия".

February 23, 2021 - Russell, me, Yulia Teybash and Alexander Kiryukhanov, someone else (sorry who I forgot) together with our soldiers at a firing range somewhere in the south of the DРR. We brought them the necessary humanitarian aid and a small concert in honor of Defender of the Fatherland Day. It was cold, but at the same time warm from good company 🤠
Russell sang THIS IS ALL THAT IS LEFT AFTER ME (impromptu, he often sang the chorus at home), his “Essence of Time” dated back to 2015 and of course “Sweet Home Novorossiya”.

Пока не закончился февраль, хочу поделиться с вами видео кадрами февраля 2015 года, которые Рассел снимал на передовых позициях линии фронта, на которых он работал. Направление: Донецкий аэропорт - Авдеевская промзона - Ясиноватая. Эти кадры уникальны тем, что с них начиналась легенда ковбоя из Техаса в истории Донбасса. Ковбоя, который воевал наравне со всеми ополченцами, безо всяких поблажек.
"Техас" снимал для истории, когда была для этого возможность. Эти кадры никогда ранее не переводились на русский язык. Так что, сегодня ПУБЛИКУЮТСЯ ВПЕРВЫЕ, с теми названиями, которыми их подписывал сам Рассел.
Те, кто читал книгу Рассела "Ковбой Донбасса", будут узнавать на видео некоторые описанные места и события. Всего таких выпусков будет 15. Один из них будет в переводе с испанского. Сегодня первый - "Добро пожаловать"!

Before February is over, I'd like to share with you some video footages from February 2015 that Russell filmed at the front line positions he was working on. The direction: Donetsk airport - Avdeyevka industrial zone - Yasinovataya. These shots are unique because they opened the legend of a cowboy from Texas in the history of Donbass. The cowboy who fought on an equal footing with all militiamen, without any indulgences.
“Texas” filmed for the sake of history, when there was an opportunity for that. These footages have never been translated into Russian before. So, today - PUBLISHED for the FIRST time, with the titles Russell himself signed them with.
Those who have read “Donbass Cowboy” by Russell Bentley, will recognize on the video some of the places and events described in his book. There will be 15 episodes in total. One of them will be translated from Spanish. Today the first one is “Welcome”!

On February 24, 2022, at the same time as our first missile and air strikes on Ukrops' military facilities, the front line, which had been frozen for eight years, began to move. Our artillery and rocket artillery, which had been silent all this time, began to work at full force on the enemy's positions, which they had been strengthening for years during the Minsk ceasefire. Well, and from the air for the first time the Russian aviation started to work on the heirs of the Bandera traditions.
The battalion of internal troops, in which I was, as well as many other volunteers who came to the location with backpacks that had long been packed and waiting for their time, remained in reserve for the first few days of the operation. Fueled vehicles, ready to leave at any moment upon receipt of an order, stood in a column that stretched over the entire territory of the unit. The mood of the soldiers, who had been waiting for 8 long years for the situation to move from the dead point of the second Minsk agreement, can be summarized in one word: “At last”. This was especially true for the guys from Mariupol, Avdeyevka and other towns occupied by the Ukrainian armed forces, who had not been home since 2014.
I remember how for a few days, time literally dragged on waiting for the order: “Forward”. But it was still, as it always is in such circumstances, sudden. The order was given at the general formation in the evening of February 28. And in two hours, in the darkness of night, the battalion moved from Donetsk “to the south”. At that moment we thought that everything would be over very quickly and did not tune in for a long war. After a while such naivety seems strange, but at the end of February 2022 it seemed absolutely logical.
...The most important thing to understand is that February 24, 2022 was not the beginning of the war, but an attempt to quickly and with minimal losses to end the war that had been going on since 2014. And the fact that events did not immediately go the way they were planned in the high headquarters does not cancel the fact that, taking Ukrop's insanity and incompetence into account, there was no choice.
