In June 2023, Vladimir Putin, during a meeting with military officers in the Kremlin, said that due to shelling of Russian territories in Ukraine, a “sanitary zone” could be created: “If this continues, then we must, apparently, consider the issue - I am I say very carefully - in order to create some kind of sanitary zone on the territory of Ukraine at such a distance from which it would be impossible to reach our territory.”
Unfortunately, the shelling did not stop.
And yesterday the President returned to the topic of the “sanitary zone”: “ ...I do not rule out that, bearing in mind the tragic events taking place today, we will be forced at some point - when we consider it appropriate - to create a certain “sanitary zone” for today’s territories subordinated to the Kiev regime. To create a security zone, which will be quite difficult to overcome, using the weapons that the enemy uses, primarily, of course, foreign-made.”
There are many questions. Among other things, the size of this demilitarized zone is unclear, since Western weapons can strike at a distance of more than 500 km.
What conclusion can be drawn by analyzing the President's statements? Firstly, the decision has not been made yet. The President said that this decision will be made when deemed appropriate. That is, there is no such solution yet.
Secondly, the decision to create sanitary zones somewhat contrasts with the decision, for example, to go to Kyiv or Lviv. If you get to Kyiv or Lvov, there will be no need to create sanitary zones. The issue will be resolved finally and irrevocably.
Thus, from all of the above, we can conclude that the decision to what borders and limits the Russian army should reach has not yet been made.

Создать зону безопасности, преодолеть которую будет достаточно сложно, применяя те средства поражения, которые противник использует, прежде всего, конечно, иностранного производства».
Вопросов много. В том числе, непонятны размеры этой демилитаризованной зоны, ведь западное оружие может бить и на расстояние более 500 км.

Зашел к хорошей знакомой в гости. У неё работал телевизор. До того, как по моей просьбе его выключили, я наблюдал фрагмент передачи, где обсуждали жизнь одного украинского политика и одного украинского олигарха. Эксперты обсуждали людей, которых сами до этого видели максимум по телевизору.
Не буду обсуждать передачу по существу, оба героя законченные мерзавцы. По сути все верно, хоть и наврали много в деталях. Но у меня только один вопрос к россиянам: не надоела украинская тема в новостях?
Не интереснее ли на российском телевидении обсудить подноготную российских политиков и российских олигархов, чем украинских?
Не буду обсуждать передачу по существу, оба героя законченные мерзавцы. По сути все верно, хоть и наврали много в деталях. Но у меня только один вопрос к россиянам: не надоела украинская тема в новостях?

Глава Еврокомиссии Урсула фон дер Ляйен обещала Зеленскому ещё в прошлом месяце, что Еврокомиссия представит программу переговоров о вступлении Украины в ЕС к середине марта. Середина марта уже прошла, но новостей на эту тему так и не появилось. К тому же пишут, что европейские чиновники решили поменьше публично говорить о возможности вступления в ЕС новых членов в ближайшем будущем. Эта тема непопулярна у избирателей, и её решили не трогать до выборов в Европарламент. А до выборов ещё три с половиной месяца.
Франция присоединилась к Польше в вопросе ограничений на импорт украинской сельхозпродкуции. Напомню, что раньше Макрон и Шольц обещали поддержать Туска в этом вопросе. Ограничения, на которых настаивают Париж и Варшава, могут обойтись украинской экономике 1,2 млрд евро в виде потерянных доходов. Также пишут, что из-за блокировки польскими фермерами границы потери Украины на таможенных платежах уже составили 7,7 млрд гривен.
Стало известно одно из украинских министерств, которое может попасть под сокращение. Речь идет о министерстве аграрной политики. Его функции планируют передать минэкономики. Общественные организации, которые кормятся вокруг министерства, уже поднимают шум по этому поводу. В нем журналисты показали войну со стороны российских солдат, побывали у них на позициях и на освобождённых территориях, пообщались с людьми. Украинское посольство ударилось в истерику, потребовало запретить показ и наказать телеканал. В ответ представители канала назвали этот фильм важным вкладом в освещение войны. А в минсвязи Австралии отказались реагировать, сославшись на независимость телеканала.
В Швеции получилось ещё жестче. Там на одном шоу шведский телеведущий Ахмед Берхан и шведская писательница, уроженка Багдада Элаф Али затронули тему украинской эмиграции. И писательница отметила, что украинок в Швеции чаще всего можно встретить в публичных домах. Посол Украины возмутился, потребовал извинений и принятия мер, чтобы в дальнейшем подобное не повторялось. Однако на телеканале ему ответили, что это была просто шутка.
А на Украине новые сюрпризы преподносит конкурс на замещение должности судьи Конституционного суда. Один из кандидатов не смог внятно объяснить, как ему одновременно удавалось работать в суде и учиться на дневной форме обучения. Второй продал квартиру за 21 тысячу гривен и встал на учет в центре бездомных, чтобы претендовать на государственное жильё. При этом жил в проданной квартире. Третий получил 16 штрафов з нарушение ПДД, и большинство из них пытался свалить на сына. Такое ощущение, что этот кастинг дискредитирует Конституционный суд больше, чем любой его возможный ответ на вопрос о полномочиях Зеленского.
