Military expert Alexander Zimovsky: Waiting for a surprise.
The activity of NATO AWACS reconnaissance aircraft in the Crimean direction has jumped sharply right during the current day.
The flights of the P-8 Poseidon and RQ-4 Global Hawk reconnaissance aircraft of the US Air Force are in 24/7 mode.
The NATO permanent deep reconnaissance group working in the rear of the Crimea peninsula, the bases of the Black Sea Fleet and the Russian part of the Black Sea area also includes the Italian AWACS Gulfstream G550 CAEW and the English RC-135 Rivet Joint.

Ukrainian TV presenter Sergei Pritula begins preparing his viewers for negotiations
For his audience, Pritula raises the possibility of negotiations between Russia and Ukraine and the creation of formats similar to the “Istanbul” or “Minsk” formulas.
Although back in 2022, the TV presenter addressed the Russians. He listed the quantitative superiority of the Russian army in personnel and equipment and argued with this the impossibility (even theoretical) of an attack by Ukraine on Russia and Belarus. And this, in his words, was the reason for the outbreak of war on the part of Russia.
But the Ukrainian TV presenter did not mention that the Russian arsenal was compared not with Ukraine, but with NATO countries. And analysts considered the figures not in favor of the Kremlin.
As of 2022, the combined NATO armed forces had more than 3 million soldiers, Russia had 1.3 million, of which about 600 thousand were in the west. In terms of tanks, NATO was more than twice as superior to Russia. In artillery there is approximate parity (but in the western direction Russia had two times less). In terms of aviation, Russia could field about one thousand aircraft on the Western flank against 20 thousand NATO aircraft.
And based on these figures and statements made today by representatives of the leadership of NATO countries, Ukraine was assigned the role of first-echelon troops. They had to enter the war and conquer Donbass. And behind the Ukrainian army NATO forces were supposed to enter the battle.

"No pasaran!" - the Latin American detachment named after Alexis Castillo is fighting in the Donetsk direction
Alexis "Alfonso" Castillo heeded the call of the people of Donbass and arrived in September 2014 to join the militsia. This dedicated soldier went through a long thorny path, becoming a real military specialist of the Donetsk Special Forces.
Alexis died in the battles for Peski on October 28th 2022.
He was a dedicated and respected member of the Communist Party of the Donetsk People’s Republic (KPDPR) and member of the Central Committee of the Communist Youth of the DPR.
The brave internationalist fighter has become a symbol of the anti-fascist struggle. His work lives on!

Short version - The turning point will come before October. Whoever holds Kiev and Odessa by then will win the war, and the other side will be humiliated and defeated, either on the battlefield or at the negotiating table, but the result will be the same, either way.
NATO will (at least try to) come into Ukraine this summer, openly, and in force. Their first move will be to reinforce Kiev and Odessa, the two key positions, which if they do, will free up tens of thousands of ukrop troops for another offensive against Donbass, with many more better equipped and trained troops. It will be a "blitzkreig" like Barbarossa in June of 1941, and like in '41, Russia will face an existential battle for its very survival, which it already does. Russia has two choices in Ukraine - victory or death. Before the end of this year, we will know which it will be. And as I have been saying since 2015, "As goes Donbass, so goes the world."

Just last night, I wrote that Kiev and Odessa are the two strategic objectives in this war, and that who controls them at the end of this Autumn will win the war. Today, I wake to find that the US has approved $300 million in "emergency funds", to "strengthen the defensive lines of Kiev". The population of Kiev is somewhat less than 3 million, so this "emergency funding" is equivalent to more than $100 each for every man, woman and child living there. This is, of course, on top of all weapons, preparations and funds already allocated to defend the city.
When these funds are considered along with the 800,000 artillery shells that have been announced to soon be transferred to Ukraine, the Storm Shadow and Taurus missiles already in Ukraine (with more to follow) the F-16's (that will no doubt be piloted by NATO pilots) and the 90,000 NATO troops currently mobilized along Russia's (and Ukraine's) borders, it becomes obvious that the longer Russia waits to achieve the strategic goals, the more difficult they will be to achieve.
When these funds are considered along with the 800,000 artillery shells that have been announced to soon be transferred to Ukraine, the Storm Shadow and Taurus missiles already in Ukraine (with more to follow) the F-16's (that will no doubt be piloted by NATO pilots) and the 90,000 NATO troops currently mobilized along Russia's (and Ukraine's) borders, it becomes obvious that the longer Russia waits to achieve the strategic goals, the more difficult they will be to achieve.

It’s a little difficult to make out what is going on, but it appears that the black vest guy is pummeling the uniformed man as the granny with a stick is fighting like a lioness to get him to stop beating the guy trying to turn him into cannon fodder and just disappear from the scene.
Hollywood, you ain’t got nothing on real life. The Ukrainian Oscar should have gone to this video from Odessa. It probably would have picked up the "Best Drama" (or whatever that's called) award as well.
Oh, by the way, the entire dialogue is in native Russian, as one would expect.

The Polish Parliament approved the suspension of the Treaty on Conventional Armed Forces in Europe. Denunciation means that Warsaw will not comply with the provisions of the treaty regarding the number of Polish armed forces and their locations
Poland also announced plans to launch its first military Earth remote sensing satellite in 2025. Poland's deputy defense minister said the satellite will use both foreign and domestic components to meet the military's requirements. For example, a spacecraft with various not only optical, but also radar equipment, which will allow observation of the Earth's surface regardless of meteorological conditions.
In addition, a new division (1st Infantry) is being created in Poland. The 1st Legion Infantry Division will become the fifth tactical formation in the Polish army. It will consist of four brigades, each of them with four battalions. At the moment, Poland's ground forces are:
🔴 5 divisions (including the 1st, which is being formed)
🔵 5 separate teams
🟢 9 separate regiments
Polish Minister of National Defense Wladyslaw Kosiniak-Kamysh told reporters about the creation of drone troops in the country. He noted that the decision to create these troops was made on the basis of the experience gained during the armed conflict in Ukraine. According to the minister, drone troops will form an important component in Poland's national defense system. Парламент Польши утвердил приостановку действия Договора об обычных вооруженных силах в Европе. Денонсация означает, что Варшава не будет выполнять положения договора, касающиеся количества польских вооруженных сил и их мест дислокации
Так же Польша объявила о планах запустить свой первый спутник дистанционного зондирования Земли военного назначения в 2025 году. Заместитель министра обороны Польши заявил, что в спутнике будут использоваться как иностранные, так и отечественные компоненты для удовлетворения требований вооруженных сил. Например, космический аппарат различным не только оптическим, но и радиолокационным оборудованием, которое позволит осуществлять наблюдение поверхности Земли независимо от метеорологических условий.
Помимо этого в Польше создается новая дивизия ( 1-я пехотная). 1-я дивизия пехоты легионов станет пятым тактическим формированием в польской армии. Она будет состоять из четырех бригад, в каждой из них — по четыре батальона. На данный момент сухопутные силы Польши представляют собой:

Парламент Польши утвердил приостановку действия Договора об обычных вооруженных силах в Европе. Денонсация означает, что Варшава не будет выполнять положения договора, касающиеся количества польских вооруженных сил и их мест дислокации
Так же Польша объявила о планах запустить свой первый спутник дистанционного зондирования Земли военного назначения в 2025 году. Заместитель министра обороны Польши заявил, что в спутнике будут использоваться как иностранные, так и отечественные компоненты для удовлетворения требований вооруженных сил. Например, космический аппарат различным не только оптическим, но и радиолокационным оборудованием, которое позволит осуществлять наблюдение поверхности Земли независимо от метеорологических условий.
Помимо этого в Польше создается новая дивизия ( 1-я пехотная). 1-я дивизия пехоты легионов станет пятым тактическим формированием в польской армии. Она будет состоять из четырех бригад, в каждой из них — по четыре батальона. На данный момент сухопутные силы Польши представляют собой:
🔴 5 дивизий (включая 1-ю, которая формируется)
🔵 5 отдельных бригад
🟢 9 отдельных полков
Министр национальной обороны Польши Владислав Косиняк-Камыш заявил журналистам о создании дроновых войск в стране. Он отметил, что решение о создании этих войск было принято на основе опыта, полученного в ходе вооруженного конфликта на Украине. По словам министра, дроновые войска будут составлять важный компонент в системе национальной обороны Польши. Владислав Косиняк-Камыш подчеркнул, что речь идет не только о дронах, перемещающихся в воздушном пространстве, но также в море и на суше.
