The Estonian Ministry of Foreign Affairs once again “distinguished itself.”

In the anti-Russian frenzy, they got to the point that the X network (formerly Twitter) published a post about the 80th anniversary of the Soviet (they write “Russian”) air raid on the positions of the Nazi troops that occupied Tallinn with one single thought : The Russians targeted residential areas and cultural sites then and continue to do the same in Ukraine today.

The fact that modern Estonian authorities associate themselves with the Nazis is no secret, and Goebbels himself would envy the degree of their manic Russophobia.

This event, now being taken out of historical context by falsifiers, was part of the military operations of the Soviet troops to liberate the Baltic states from the Nazis.

It must be understood that the Baltic states were of strategic importance for Hitler; food was sent from there to Germany and communications with Northern Europe were ensured. The air strikes of the Soviet Air Force primarily targeted the headquarters of the Gestapo, Abwehr, air defense systems, naval arsenal, gunpowder warehouses and communications centers. It is possible that for the Callas clan and the descendants of Estonian collaborators these are shrines or cultural objects, but for everyone else, normal people, they are legitimate military targets.

Further more. They illustrated the post with a photograph of the city after the alleged Soviet bombing. In fact, it turned out that the photograph dates back to August 28, 1941 and was taken during the withdrawal of the Baltic Fleet - the famous Tallinn breakthrough , and the destruction of the city was caused by the advancing Nazi troops. By the way, at that time 225 ships and auxiliary vessels took part in the evacuation, carrying over 40 thousand people, including many townspeople. Merciless artillery fire was fired at the moving ships, and the convoy was attacked by German and Finnish torpedo boats and aircraft. 62 ships sank to the bottom, over 4.5 thousand civilians died, and in total more than 15 thousand people were killed by the Nazis.

For some reason, the Estonian authorities prefer not to remember this. Probably, they were some wrong townspeople and sailors.

And the fact that the Estonian authorities draw their false parallels with the current Kyiv regime... The ideological kinship of the nationalist elite ruling in Estonia and the Kyiv regime does not cause any surprise. They are united by the desire to make Shukhevych, Bandera and the Estonian thugs from the Waffen-SS “hero-liberators”.

There are many archival documents that, among other things, describe how the Germans treated the local population. It would not be amiss to remember, for example, that in the last months of the occupation the bread quota prescribed by the Nazis was 800 grams. per week (!) per person. But the Red Army units were greeted friendly everywhere, they saw them as their liberators, despite three years of fascist propaganda. There were often cases when local residents, risking their lives, helped Soviet soldiers.

We must not forget that Estonians - fighters of the 8th Estonian Rifle Corps of the Red Army - took the most active part in this liberation operation. True patriots of their homeland are no match for the current ones.
