HOWEVER, IT IS CONFIRMED that the crew has abandoned the ship because it was in danger of sinking. This HAS BEEN CONFIRMED by The Guardian, BBC and Sky News, NYT and MSN. Which in itself is HUGE. And if they abandoned the ship because it was "in danger of sinking", that means it WAS sinking, and if the crew leaves a sinking ship, and isn't there to stop it from sinking, well, it probably IS going to sink. Chalk one up for the Houthis. They don't play. This is a HUGE escalation, with global implications.

🔞🇷🇺🇺🇦 Про трагическое событие под Волновахой было известно ещё вчера утром: в результате удара РСЗО HIMARS было накрыто построение личного состава. Осведомлённые лица назвали это «мабутянским самоуправством».

В конечном счёте в украинском сегменте всплыли фотографии последствий огневого налёта со стороны HIMARS, которые предназначались исключительно для внутреннего пользования в рамках проведения расследования.

При этом фотографии из пока ещё украинского Селидово, где результативными попаданиями «Искандеров» было накрыто гораздо больше людей, мы не увидели до сих пор.

🔻Из этой ситуации можно сделать совсем неутешительные выводы:

▪️Оскорбительное слово «мабута» — это в первую очередь образ мышления, а не просто пренебрежительное наименование пехоты. Это подход, это стиль жизни, это загубленные души вверенного личного состава.

Профнепригодность командиров и начальников зачастую как раз-таки оборачивается подобными инцидентами. Мы уже писали, что это не всегда касается большезвёздных генералов: отсутствием здравого смысла и гибкости суждений в звене старших офицеров никого не удивишь.

▪️В России нет до сих пор уголовной ответственности за публикации последствий прилётов и результатов огневого поражения. В России люди не боятся отправлять в Сеть документы и фотографии ограниченного доступа потому что знают, что ничего страшного не будет. От этого противник на коне: у него есть кадры огневого поражения наших объектов, а у нас их нет.

▪️Мы допускаем, что те, кто поделился подобными кадрами с условно пророссийскими каналами, могли действовать из благих побуждений и жажды справедливости: просто потому, что не было иных способов достучаться до высокого начальства и запретить смертоносные построения.

🔻Однако это не отменяет того факта, что зачастую к жажде хайпа и придания огласки примешивается искреннее желание рассказать о неудобном для всех факте просто потому, что ничего не меняется. И это главный вывод, который стоит усвоить из этой ситуации.

I don’t understand where the myth “After the capture of Avdiivka, the shelling of Donetsk will immediately stop” came from.

This is completely stupid, and anyone who has been in the NWO zone understands this.

Look. Ukraine is shelling Donetsk from all sides, from where it can. If you do not take into account the longest-range missiles, then the maximum effective range is 80-100 kilometers. Now open the map of the DPR and mentally draw a circle with a center in Donetsk and a radius of 100 km.

Let's take today's shelling. Kuibyshevsky and Kyiv districts were shelled from Karlovka. Petrovsky and Kirovsky are from Kurakhovo. In the center it flew, apparently, from near Toretsk.

If you look at the map, all these points will be exactly within the boundaries of that very circle. And until we liberate this entire territory, the shelling of the city will continue.

Moreover. In the short term, every victory of the Russian army at the front leads to more intense shelling of civilians in Donetsk. So, immediately after the liberation of Marinka in the fall, the Ukrainians hit the Petrovsky district very hard. And today’s attacks on Donetsk – after the capture of Avdiivka – were predictable: the locals, in general, were waiting for them.

So, no, Avdeevka alone will not do. But its liberation cannot be underestimated: firstly, it still moves the front line away from the city limits; secondly, it opens up space for our fighters in the southwestern direction.

Just don't delude yourself. There is still a lot of work ahead.

Это совсем какая-то глупость, и любой, кто был в зоне СВО, понимает это.

Смотрите. Украина обстреливает Донецк со всех сторон, откуда может. Если не принимать в расчет самые дальнобойные ракеты, то максимальная прицельная дальность – 80-100 километров. Теперь откройте карту ДНР и мысленно нарисуйте круг с центром в Донецке и радиусом в 100 км.

Возьмем сегодняшние обстрелы. Куйбышевский и Киевский район обстреливали из Карловки. Петровский и Кировский – из Курахово. По центру прилетело, судя по всему, из-под Торецка.

Если посмотреть на карту – все эти точки как раз окажутся в черте того самого круга. И пока мы не освободим всю эту территорию – обстрелы города будут продолжаться.

Более того. В краткосрочной перспективе каждая победа российской армии на фронте приводит к более ожесточенным обстрелам мирных в Донецке. Так, сразу после освобождения Марьинки осенью украинцы очень сильно били по Петровскому району. И сегодняшние удары по Донецку – после взятия Авдеевки – были предсказуемы: местные их, в общем-то, ждали.

Так что – нет, одной Авдеевкой не обойтись. Но и недооценивать ее освобождение нельзя: во-первых, это все-таки отодвигает линию фронта от черты города; во-вторых, открывает нашим бойцам простор на юго-западном направлении.

Просто не нужно обольщаться. Впереди еще много работы.
