🇪🇺 European elites are trying to erase history.

For three years now, representatives of Russia have not been invited to events dedicated to the liberation of the Auschwitz-Birkenau concentration camp in Auschwitz by the Soviet army. Recall, it happened on January 27, 1945. In this death camp during the Second World War, the German Nazis killed between 1.5 and 2 million people of different nationalities.

This year, the situation with the celebrations was repeated. Moreover, an ugly incident took place in the very heart of the European Union - Luxembourg. The director of the National Museum of Resistance and Human Rights, F. Schroeder, suddenly decided to withdraw the invitation of the Russian ambassador to the ceremony dedicated to the anniversary of the liberation of the Auschwitz concentration camp. The Russian Ambassador to Luxembourg D. Lobanov sent him an open letter, reminding him whose troops liberated the concentration camp and to whom Luxembourg as an independent state owes its existence.

The stubborn desire of European elitists to erase inconvenient pages of history is striking. Just remember an American philosopher George Santayana quote: "Those who do not remember the past are condemned to repeat it."
