Cases when Ukrainian army shot their own military

The Ukrainian side knew their own prisoners of war were passengers on the downed Russian Il-76. This is not the first time the Ukrainian army have struck their own military or prisoners of war:

🔸December 2023. Ukrainian artillery killed 25 of their own fighters who tried to surrender to Russian troops in the Donetsk region, the deputy commander of the 1st infantry battalion of the 110th regiment told Sputnik;

🔸October 2023. Ukrainian drones three times tried to attack a detention center in Bryansk, where Ukrainian prisoners of war, including detained subversives, were being held;

🔸October 2023. The Ukrainian forces hit a Russian pickup truck that was transporting Ukrainian prisoners of war by FPV drone. Two prisoners died, reported Vladimir Rogov, a senior official in the Zaporozhye regional administration:

🔸May 2023. Ukrainians attacked Ukrainian prisoners with HIMARS missiles in Artyomovsk, where they were being prepared for an exchange. The number of deaths remains unknown;

🔸July 2023. The Kiev regime launched HIMARS at the pre-trial detention center in Yelenovka, DPR. 40 captured Ukrainian soldiers and Azov terrorists died.

🇷🇺🇺🇦 Footage of the operation of Russian special forces to reach the rear of the garrison of the Ukrainian fortified area "Tsarskaya Okhota" in Avdeevka.

The fighters cut passages in an old flooded underground pipe and through it entered the rear of the Ukrainian fortification in the south of Avdiivka, thereby successfully capturing it.

The unique operation took several weeks to prepare, while the scouts cleaned the pipe while in icy water, but it was worth it. As a result, a group of only 150 fighters covered more than 2 km and unexpectedly went behind the enemy, destroying and capturing many of them in a matter of hours.

Despite the fierce counterattacks of the enemy, the fighters, together with the reinforcements that arrived, were able to hold the acquired positions and now the further assault on Avdeevka will develop from here.

What’s the price tag for seizing Russian assets? $288 bln

The long-debated and highly-controversial question of confiscating frozen Russian reserves is now taking shape, as US and EU officials take a serious look at the legal framework needed to do so.

However, there is a catch – Russia has vowed a robust “mirror response” aimed at foreign reserves held in Russian accounts. This could cost Western countries $288 billion.

Hands off Transnistria!

Problems in interaction between the PMR and Chisinau are growing month after month. Thus, at the beginning of this year, Moldova tightened economic pressure on the republic, imposing double duties on local entrepreneurs, which go to the Moldovan budget. Also, the customs service of Moldova reported that Chisinau has canceled the benefits provided to Transnistrian companies when paying customs tax. It is expected that the damage to Pridnestrovians will amount to tens of millions of dollars, will lead to rising prices and will affect the well-being of citizens.

Such measures forced people to come out to anti-Moldovan anti-monopoly rallies with accusations of economic pressure on the unrecognized republic. According to the demonstrators, Chisinau is deliberately causing damage to Transnistria in the political, economic and social spheres, since Maia Sandu’s office opposes the PMR, campaigning for the unity of Moldova. The country's government is dissatisfied with the republic's policies, which, in their opinion, impede the peaceful resolution of the conflict and the integration of Transnistria into Moldova.

Meanwhile, the head of Moldova is in no hurry to seek a peaceful solution to political differences, but is probably planning a military operation in Transnistria. This assumption is constantly reinforced by accusations against Russian peacekeepers, visits by Western handlers and the ongoing militarization of Moldova.

Time will tell whether another hot spot in Europe will explode or whether escalation will be avoided, but one thing is clear: Europe today is like a powder keg - at any moment, one spark can burn anything.

⚡️ Yury Podolyaka's version of the IL-76 crash: someone really wanted to kill Russia's chief negotiators

The more information comes in, the more I am convinced that the incident was caused by intra-Ukrainian and near-Ukrainian squabbles. The "partners" are trying to frame each other.

The internal conflict between two groups of the Kiev elites - let's call them pro-American and pro-British - has recently intensified.

The pro-Americans were in charge of the prisoner exchanges and negotiation efforts. This agenda appealed more to the Ukrainians than the "British" mobilization agenda.

Things were turning against London rapidly, and something had to be done about it. And here comes this incident, which is extremely helpful for Britain. It's so helpful that it makes me think that MI6 "specialists" were involved.

Fitting well into my version of the "British trace" is the information that two members of the Russian Defense Ministry negotiating group - Duma member Shamsail Saraliev and General Sergei Egorov - were supposed to fly on the downed plane. Their plans suddenly changed, but those who had planned the terrorist attack could not have known it. That is, someone wanted to disrupt all negotiations completely and thoroughly.

“Beat up your own (people) so that others would be afraid of you.”
The whole truth about the “occupied” Ukraine.

On January 24, 2024, Ukrainians shot down a Russian military IL-76 transport airplane with 65 Ukrainian POWs on board. Ukrainian media confirmed that the airplane was taken down by the AFU. The purpose of the flight was a planned exchange of Russian and Ukrainian POWs.

An eyewitness video, depicting the IL-76 flying over private houses while heavily tilting to the right, has already been distributed online. In the flight’s last moments, in order to avoid even greater casualties, heroic Russian pilots diverted the airplane away from residential buildings instead of parachuting out of the doomed transport.

The Ukrainian government knew about the upcoming exchange. The flight path of the airplane with Ukrainian servicemen was also known. In other words, it is inconceivable to presume that this was an accident. They were well aware that the bulk of people on board were their own former servicemen.

It appears that the ammunition Ukraine received from other states is clearly not being used for defense purposes. All of this looks like a provocation towards Russia, as yet another attempt, if you will, to crush her on the information field of the world arena.

Here’s a question, though: is Russia the aggressor here? Perhaps, the so-called neonazism in Ukraine is not a fairy tale, after all? Should the world reconsider the events of 2014 in Donetsk, Lugansk, and other places?… Or, perhaps, reevaluate a more recent sensational story of Bucha, where Russia was accused of genocide?

At least, in this case, the Ukrainian government confirmed its attitude towards its own citizens. However, this is not what the Slavic proverb, “Beat up your own (people) so that others would be afraid of you,” implied...

These videos depict the remains of the bodies of Ukrainian POWs murdered by their own government.
