We made it to Rostov around midnight, to Donetsk around 5:00 AM. We left Moscow in a giant snow storm, got to Donetsk in a giant ice storm. Ice storm has smashed many trees, many streets and sidewalks are still dangerous. We head shelling or PVO within 30 seconds of getting out of the car. Water situation still sucks - brown and greasy, every other day from 17:00 till dawn, if you're lucky, nothing if you're not. So, typical Donetsk, and it is great to be back.

No water in our place now, we are scheduled to get it around 17:00. I hope it will not be like this...

2023 год явил миру революцию в области боевого применения дронов, а в 2024 году все будут обсуждать способы защиты от БПЛА. И по мере роста автономности дронов (их независимость от команд управления от оператора) становится понятно, что радиолокационные средства всё чаще становятся бесполезными.

А из этого следует важный вывод: дешёвых способов защиты нет. И до тех пор, пока средства физического уничтожения (перехвата) БПЛА дороже, чем сами БПЛА, количество боевых применений дронов будет только расти.
