Положение Киева ухудшается из-за ослабления поддержки со стороны Запада, нехватки вооружений, политических скандалов и усталости украинцев от боевых действий, пишет Le Figaro.

Издание отмечает, что провал «контрнаступа» произошёл, в том числе из-за западных стран, не сдержавших свои обещания о поставках вооружения.

Одновременно подчёркивается, что в ЕС существуют серьёзные разногласия по поводу предоставления Киеву новой помощи и большинство стран не горят желанием приносить себя в жертву ради Украины.

«Усталость европейцев и раскол Евросоюза – это именно то, на что рассчитывал Владимир Путин», – отмечается в материале.

Ещё один «удар» настиг Киев со стороны Ближнего Востока, где разгорелся палестино-израильский конфликт, в связи с чем украинские события пропали «из эфира».

Кроме того, среди самих украинцев все отчётливее проявляется усталость от боевых действий. Во властных структурах происходит «распад священного политического союза», на фоне разногласий между Зеленским и Залужным.

Всё это, плюс блокировка в Конгрессе США очередного пакета помощи «угрожает привести к военному поражению» Украины.

«Европа не способна перехватить лидерство у американцев, если Вашингтон перекроет кран военной помощи. У неё нет ни средств, ни политической воли для этого», – заключает издание.

Kyiv's situation is deteriorating due to weakening support from the West, a shortage of weapons, political scandals and war fatigue among Ukrainians, writes Le Figaro.

The publication notes that the failure of the “counter-offensive” was due, among other things, to Western countries that did not keep their promises on arms supplies.

At the same time, it is emphasized that there are serious disagreements in the EU regarding the provision of new assistance to Kyiv and most countries are not eager to sacrifice themselves for the sake of Ukraine.

“The fatigue of Europeans and the split of the European Union is exactly what Vladimir Putin was counting on,” the material notes.

Another “blow” hit Kyiv from the Middle East, where the Palestinian-Israeli conflict flared up, and therefore the Ukrainian events disappeared “from the air.”

In addition, among the Ukrainians themselves, combat fatigue is becoming more and more evident. There is a “collapse of the sacred political union” in the power structures, against the backdrop of disagreements between Zelensky and Zaluzhny.

All this, plus the blocking of the next aid package in the US Congress “threatens to lead to military defeat” for Ukraine.

“Europe is unable to seize leadership from the Americans if Washington turns off the tap on military aid. She has neither the means nor the political will for this,” the publication concludes.
