Durov says Telegram can now create AI bots in basically “two clicks.” The new Managed Bots mode looks built for services that want to ship their own “agents” directly inside the messenger, fast.

Looks like Telegram is testing new ways to bypass restrictions, which is why the app suddenly feels “partially unblocked” for some users. The pattern is familiar from 2018 — the tools are just smarter now.

Starting April 27, the legacy Token Bridge V3 will stop supporting Ethereum → TON transfers. The opposite direction (TON → Ethereum) will keep working — with fee changes that should make withdrawals cheaper/simpler.

UK regulator Ofcom says it has evidence that child sexual abuse material is being distributed on Telegram and has opened a formal investigation. Telegram is pushing back hard, denying the claims and saying that since 2018 it has largely eliminated public distribution via detection systems and cooperation with specialist organizations, while framing the probe as part of a broader attack on platforms that protect free speech.

An EU court ruled that Hungary crossed the line with restrictions aimed at minors. Durov responded with his usual sarcasm – and then used the moment to push the idea that Telegram + TON are becoming a strong base layer for AI agents.
