Billionaire Elon Musk Told Tucker Carlson he plans to launch 'the third option' to Microsoft and Google after announcing his alternative chatbot on Monday, slamming his competitors for how they used AI.
He criticized Microsoft-backed OpenAI, the firm behind chatbot sensation ChatGPT, of 'training the AI to lie' and said OpenAI has now become a 'closed source', 'for-profit' organization 'closely allied with Microsoft'.
'It's simply starting late. But I will try to create a third option,' Musk said in an interview with Fox News Channel's Tucker Carlson aired on Monday.
He also accused Larry Page, co-founder of Google, of not taking AI safety seriously.
'I'm going to start something which I call 'TruthGPT', or a maximum truth-seeking AI that tries to understand the nature of the universe,' he added.

It all started in the 1960s Lamborghini, a wealthy Italian businessman, decided to start his own car company after being dissatisfied with his Ferrari, when Lamborghini approached Ferrari with some suggestions to #improve his cars, he was dismissed and told to stick to making tractors.
This rejection fueled Lamborghini's desire to beat Ferrari at their own game. He assembled a team of #engineers and #designers who worked tirelessly to create a car that would #surpass anything Ferrari had ever made. The result was the legendary Lamborghini Miura, which was unveiled at the 1966 Geneva Motor Show.
The Miura was an instant hit and it quickly became known as one of the most beautiful and #powerful cars in the world. It had a top speed of over 170 mph and could go from 0-60 mph in just 6.7 seconds.
Ferrari was not happy about this new competition and they responded by creating their own #supercar, the 365 GTB/4 Daytona. The Daytona was faster than the Miura but it lacked its beauty and style.
