Today, the Haramaya University CHMS Students’ Union Charity Affairs proudly took part in a sanitary pad donation initiative at Harar State Prison in collaboration with the Rotaract Club of Haramaya (RAC Haramaya).
Through the generosity of our students and the funds raised during our recent charity football event, the Charity Club contributed 2 dozen packs of sanitary pads (24 pieces each) to support women inmates and help promote their dignity and well-being.
We would like to extend our heartfelt appreciation to RAC Haramaya for their commitment, cooperation, and dedication in organizing and leading this meaningful humanitarian initiative. Together, we proved that collaboration and compassion can create a greater impact.
A sincere thank you to every student who supported the charity football event and made this contribution possible. Every contribution, no matter how small, carries hope and kindness.

As part of our commitment to supporting students facing financial challenges, the Charity Club will be conducting a confidential screening process to identify those most in need of assistance.
We understand that personal and financial circumstances are sensitive matters. Therefore, all information provided will be treated with strict confidentiality and will only be accessed by the designated screening committee for evaluation purposes.
The screening process is intended to ensure that available resources reach students who need them most. We encourage eligible students to apply honestly and confidently, knowing that their privacy and dignity will be respected throughout the process.

Today, our Charity Team came together for a meaningful volunteer service at the cafeteria, sharing time, effort, and kindness in support of our hardworking cafeteria mothers. It was a beautiful experience that reminded us how impactful even small acts of service can be. ❤️
We sincerely thank everyone who participated and contributed to making today’s event successful. Your willingness to serve truly reflects the spirit of our team.
At the same time, we noticed that the number of volunteers was not enough to fully meet the need. As part of our ongoing charity efforts, we plan to organize this activity once every week.
We hope to see even more kind hearts joining us in the upcoming rounds, because every helping hand makes a difference.
