And some go to their native village, where they spent their summers as children at their grandmother's house. Now many rivers of central and southern Russia have overflowed and become 2-3 times wider (some small rivers up to 50 m wide are 40 times wider). There are small wooden houses, everyone grows vegetables in the vegetable garden and many people fish in the nearest river. This is the kind of villages the artist Dmitry Levin tells about in his paintings.

The dark red building of the Historical Museum fits perfectly into the general ensemble of Red Square. And it looks as ancient as the Kremlin itself. However, this deceptive impression the building appeared only at the end of the XIX century. It was deliberately designed by the architect Vladimir Sherwood in the Neo-Russian style, so as not to look like an alien element on the square.
The entrance to the building is very inconspicuous, so few people know that the building is extremely beautiful inside! It also contains priceless treasures of Russian culture!
