Stella itu mermaid yang harusnya tinggal rapi di laut dalem, tapi entah kenapa malah muncul di tepi Ancol pas gerhana bulan, duduk bengong sambil ngitung ombak yang ga penting. langit gelap, bulan ketutup bayangan, dan Stella sendiri ga inget dia ke situ ngapain. kepalanya penuh suara laut, tapi badannya malah di aspal, ekornya setengah kering, setengah mikir “ini tempat apa sih”. terus dari kejauhan muncul seekor serigala. gede. diem. matanya ngeliatin bulan juga.
Stella mikir itu anjing salah server. ternyata bukan. itu werewolf yang lagi gagal fokus berubah wujud—badannya setengah manusia, setengah serigala, pikirannya ke mana-mana. mereka saling liat lama banget, kayak dua makhluk yang sama-sama lupa skrip hidup.
harusnya ada yang panik. ga ada.
yang ada cuma keheningan aneh dan suara ombak kecil.
si werewolf tiba-tiba mikir, “air.”
langsung nyebur.
tanpa rencana. tanpa mikir bulu basah.
air laut keciprat, Stella bengong, terus mikir, “oh… yaudah.”
akhirnya mereka berenang bareng. bukan berenang tujuan jelas, tapi muter-muter ga tentu arah. Stella ketawa tanpa suara, si werewolf berenang sambil lupa kalo paru-parunya bukan insang. bulan tetap gerhana, Ancol tetap rame jauh di sana, tapi di air itu cuma ada dua makhluk beda dunia yang lagi sama-sama nyawit kosmik.
