It is strange to me that humans worry that driving cars is a huge factor of climate change and/or/thus it should be controlled (which really means so humans should be controlled).
The planet used to be covered in active and angry volcanoes all the time; spewing out all types of nastiness. The planet is a living cleansing machine, just like the human body. Waste is much more problematic than cars. But this isn't the point I am trying to get at - any policy that is enacted (gas tax per mile, for example...electric cars and the like) will only serve to oppress people who aren't in upper income brackets. Who travels often? Who can afford to? Who can afford private jets? Who can afford a new car let alone an electronic car? Who can afford to loose their factory job? These policies are being promoted by multimillionaires but these policies won't affect them. They will only serve to shrink the lives of the have-nots.
