The World Ends With You - Nintendo DS
2007 Concept Art by Tetsuya Nomura.
At the time, the game's title was still "Emotion Edge", a rhythm-based battle RPG set in Shibuya in which the main character Neku used a Katana to fight. In The World Ends With You: Final Remix for Nintendo Switch, a combat system derived from Emotion Edge is strangely integrated in the game's code, though is never been used.
