Pleased to announce NUTS latest usecase/addition to the ecosystem is now live!

You can now deposit NUTS into the farm and whilst farming you gain bonus cover on other tokens (e.g. CAKE) by using "Price Protection" which will compensate you if the token falls 75%+ over 2 days, designed to keep you safe from rugs or economic exploits!

For today you can only protect 2 tokens (CAKE & BANANA) but we'll be adding more BSC tokens over the weekend, and you can change which token you freely protect at any time!

(just fyi) if you had any liquidity in apeswap's nuts lp farm (the farm on their site) unfortunately it seems they have now ended earning bananas, which is disappointing since we still have our ApeSwap incentivized liquidity farms (and using in FarmFomo etc.) but I guess upto them -so recommended if you had any over there to remove it and deposit same LP on squirrel.finance for now 👍

since they are no longer incentivizing our ape LP it doesnt make much sense we incentivize both ape + cake LP either, so will have a think for a week or so to see whats best to do (either we just have pancake lp or maybe try biswap lp or baby lp or something else?) unfortunately since our Nuts Farm v2 rewards ape lp this may require relaunch of all farms in future when switch to new lp is made but we'll see still tbc 👍 any suggestions/questions lemme know!

Happy New Year everyone, hope you all have a great 2022! 🎉 Following on from the medium article post last week (check it out above if you haven't already) I am pleased to announce new project Moonshots Farm, which will be the rebrand/pivot of squirrel, and should be launching in about a week! So stay tuned for full details shortly.

Unfortunately since no-one (so far) has offered to takeover squirrel development this means it will end fairly soon (farms moved to inactive etc.) remember you can exchange your NUTS 1:1 into new token. I am confident you will enjoy the new project and its improved tokenomics, and I look forward to launching! 🚀
