Preliminary statement issued by Hezbollah’s media relations:

As is now known, the zionist enemy attacked the southern suburbs of Beirut yesterday, Tuesday, 30-07-2024, targeting a residential building in one of its neighborhoods. This led to the martyrdom of several citizens, the injury of others, and significant destruction to several floors of the building.

At the time, the great jihadist leader, brother Sayyed Fouad Shukr (Hajj Mohsen), was present in this building.

Since the incident occurred, civil defense teams have been diligently working to clear the rubble, but progress has been slow due to the condition of the destroyed floors. We are still awaiting the outcome of this operation to determine the fate of the esteemed leader and other citizens in this location, upon which appropriate actions will be taken.
