I don’t drive my gas-powered automobiles or trucks in the past 3 +++ years for security reasons.

I don’t own, nor will I ever own, an electric vehicle. And their are certainly no electric tractors at Tomotley!!!

When I do drive at Tomotley or The Inn At Cotton Hall, I drive “The Lin King,” my gas powered four-wheeler (photo above taken while giving a neighbor a ride in it). It is fun to drive and I only rarely have to fill up the tank with gasoline. It gets great mileage per gallon of gas!!!

The Lin King does not have a GPS system so unless I have my iPhone with me, I am totally “off the grid” when I am out driving it.

When I am out driving The Lin King, I have a sense of freedom and privacy!!!

Well, not total privacy as I do spot the security guards who follow me from a distance in their four-wheelers if I am driving alone.

I usually just tell them to “hop in” and ride with me!!!

Saves on gas!!!

Just sayin.’

I believe in the future The White House will be the actual home of the President. Too much evil took place in “The White House” in D.C.

So the White House in Washington, D.C. (or whatever it is called after the federal government takes back control of “the district”) should be a museum.

I have to admit that I think Tomotley would be a beautiful White House but I am never going to be the President of the United States of America!!!

So I am absolutely fine with Mar-a-Lago being the White House!!!

Mar-a-Lago is worth billions. Tomotley is not.

But to me, Tomotley is priceless.

I hope Christmas 2023 was a good one for you, your family, and your friends.

I pray that the status of our nation and the world will be much different before Christmas 2024.

Only God knows the future.

We can only pray for better days ahead and have faith that God answers our prayers if they are in accord with His will.

Only God can save our nation.

Only God can save us as individuals.

While tired and weary too much of the time these days, I remain optimistic about the future.

I pray that God will restore the soul of our nation and restore the many strained and torn relationships suffered by too many.

I do pray for myself in seeking knowledge, wisdom, and discernment. I pray for the Holy Spirit to guide me in all of my ways. What I do, what I say, what I write, and how I treat other people. I don’t always get it right so I always pray for forgiveness of my sins and for the many instances where I fall short.

Prayer makes me feel better and lifts me up.

But I admit that I feel better when I pray for others. I am always mindful and comforted by the knowledge that so many of you are praying for me and my family.

I know that God is in control, so I try to substitute worry with prayer.

How many times did Jesus Christ pray to His Father in Heaven when Jesus Christ walked in earth???

Worry gets us nowhere.

There is power in prayer.

So I wish you Merry Christmas 2023 one final time before I rest!!!
