Iran pursues ties with Niger's military regime
Iran's president Ebrahim Raisi has said that his country is ready to co-operate with Niger in "economically beneficial areas".
President Raisi made the comment on Wednesday, following a meeting between Bakary Yaou Sangaré, who assumed the role of Niger's foreign affairs minister after a military coup in July, and his Iranian counterpart Hossein Amir-Abdollahian.
Iranian president praised Niger's "desire for independence” and “resistance against the European hegemonic policies”, which he said signalled Africa’s “real transition from colonialism".
In September, President Raisi met the foreign minister of Burkina Faso’s junta Olivia Rouamba. During the meeting, he applauded African countries for their “resistance in the face of colonialism and terrorism”.

Putin: What was the original name of the project? "Ether." I misspoke at one of my public speeches and said "Sphere". I came to the Kremlin and called the former head of Roscosmos: "Listen, Dim, I apologize, I misspoke. I said the Sphere project. He says: "And there is a project Sphere." I said, "How? I misspoke." He says, "No, we've already rewritten it." Before I get there, it's already called "Sphere." All right, don't rewrite it back, let it be "Sphere."

Moscow builders are restoring a temple in honor of the Tenderness icon in Lugansk
Work began in early September. Experts have already dismantled the metal structure on the roof. They are currently renovating the façade and laying paving slabs.
The renovation is planned to be completed by the end of October.
Everything that suffered from the clutches of Ukrainian Bandera will definitely be restored!

Very much like an old anecdote:
Once Alexander III, looking out of the window of the Gatchina Palace at the railroad station, said:
- How many years have I lived in Gatchina, and for the first time I see that the station is between the palace and the military field and partially covers it.
A few days later the Emperor looked out of the window again.
- Something strange is happening to me - I can't see the station!
It turned out that the station had been moved to the side so that it did not block the military field. Alexander was surprised:
- Why?
- Your Majesty ordered the station to be moved.
- Why do you manage to take every word as an imperial order?

No. 1 Kherson direction, also Lancet. Hit a Ukrainian T-64 towing a damaged one of the same type (c) @antiseptic_channel
No. 2 Again the Lancet video with target acquisition from @russian_airborne , the Ukronazi self-propelled guns were cut out.
No. 3 Destruction of an Ukrainian Armed Forces artillery piece by the Lancet. @voin_dv video is cropped at the top, the target acquisition tile is not visible.
No. 4 Video @rustroyka1945 , “Lancet” cuts out an APU BMP with target acquisition.
No. 5 Arrival of "Lancet" by T-64BV of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, target acquisition, video @voin_dv
Can you imagine the scale? Plus, yesterday I posted a strike on the Czech self-propelled gun Dana, and in the post above a strike on the Strela air defense system. This is for the last 24 hours, what was found in the search in 10 minutes. And all with objective control, that is, our UAVs are in the sky!
And FPV drones also work, with which only three Leopards were cut down the day before yesterday, and the fourth was burned with an RPG. And artillery, MLRS, missiles, aviation. This is the real reason for the cooling of US interest in Ukraine, and not Israel at all. Israel is just an excuse.

Iranian court orders US to pay $420 million in compensation
Tehran's Court of International Relations has ruled that the US government must pay material and moral damages in a lawsuit filed by victims of the US sting operation, Iranian state television reported.
The court decision indicates the payment of $420 million in compensation. It is to be paid to 13 survivors of a US Army raid on Iran in 1980 and one person who was taken hostage by US forces during that operation.
Tehran, Iran —
An Iranian court on Thursday ordered the U.S. government to pay $420 million in compensation to victims of an abortive 1980 operation to free hostages held at the U.S. Embassy, the judiciary said.
Shortly after the 1979 Islamic revolution toppled the Western-backed shah, Iranian students stormed the embassy in Tehran and took more than 50 Americans hostage for 444 days.
The students called for the extradition of the deposed shah, who was receiving medical care in the United States.
In April 1980, Washington attempted to free the hostages in the top-secret Operation Eagle Claw, which ended in disaster after running into sandstorms and mechanical problems.
As the rescue force withdrew, two U.S. aircraft collided, killing eight servicemen.
In its Thursday report, the judiciary's Mizan Online news agency said that during the operation, U.S. forces had attacked a bus carrying Iranian passengers. It did not elaborate.
"Following the complaint filed by families of the victims of U.S. Operation Eagle Claw, a court ordered the U.S. government to pay $420 million," Mizan said, without specifying the number of the victims.
