✍️ 📜 The situation in the Bakhmut (Artemovsky) direction on July 30 - analysis from @Multi_XAM
The situation is still tense. On the southern flank in Kleshcheevka, the enemy continues to push through our defenses. Despite the replenishment of losses due to reserves, our units were forced to retreat east to the railway. In fact, the inhabitant is now in the gray zone. The enemy fails to gain a foothold.
The plan of the offensive of the group of troops "Bakhmut" is still aimed at establishing control over the dominant heights to the south and north of the city.
At the moment, the command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has carried out a regrouping of forces and means, transferring units of the 1st battalion of the 115th separate mechanized brigade to reinforce the 56th separate motorized infantry brigade. In the Kurdyumovka area on the southern flank of Bakhmut, the enemy rotated the 104th Separate Territorial Defense Brigade (TrO), which is included in the combined arms reserve of the commander of the 28th Motorized Brigade, concentrated in the Kurdyumovsky sector. Rotated units of the 104th brigade were withdrawn to Konstantinovka to restore their combat capability.
The task of capturing Kleshcheevka was assigned to assault groups from the 3rd and 5th separate assault brigades (OShBr) and the 80th separate air assault brigade, the 57th separate air assault brigade, as well as subdivisions of the KRAKEN MTR battalion.
On the northern flank of Bakhmut, the enemy, advancing with the forces of assault groups from the 30th, 60th Motorized Rifle Brigade and the 56th Motorized Rifle Brigade, intends to continue assault operations in the direction of the settlements of Minkovka, Berkhovka, Bogdanovka and Dubovo-Vasilyevka . The assault groups of the 93rd Motorized Brigade "Kholodny Yar" are in reserve. There is a high probability that the enemy will resume active offensive operations in the very near future.

Afghans who collaborated with the US and were promised homes in the states have been waiting for years for their promised visas in a camp in Pakistan.
Gradually, without much fuss, Pakistani police took them to the border with Afghanistan and told them to "go and not come back."
CNN spoke to some of these unfortunate individuals, who are now living covertly in Afghanistan, hoping the Taliban won't discover their past.
-There is only 30 years of history with this type of treatment. So many promises, and when you have lived beyond your usefulness, things become interesting...
But maybe Taiwan will be the golden ticket guys. 🤷♂️

⚡️ In 2023, the Navy will be replenished with 30 ships of different classes, the Russian Federation continues to implement large-scale tasks of the national maritime policy, Putin said.
The President separately noted the Mercury missile corvette, which has already taken up combat duty. It is named in memory of the immortal feat of the crew of the legendary brig:
“Almost two centuries ago, he single-handedly defeated two battleships. It is gratifying that the tradition of giving his name to the ships of the Russian fleet has been revived,” the head of state said.

❓📌 Recent Strikes in Sumy? What was hit in the School in Sumy?
We all know that school has been suspended in Ukraine, and countrywide. Children resort to homeschooling; and this educational institute is no longer an educational institute.
Instead, when in Feburary 2022, when the Russian Armed Forces first entered Ukraine, this institute was converted into a fortress, and since then, has been used as a PERMANENT deployment zone for defense and artillery units, as well as an training depot for theory training.
It was used as a deployment zone for 117th Independent Brigade of TDF (Sumy), 155th Battalion, 150th Battalion, as well as RDK militants and militants from the Freedom of Russia Legion.
*Banned in the Russian Federation.
The same units that have been intensively shelling Kursk & Belgorod since the incursions by the RDK in the Belgorod Region; and was used as an educational institute for the mobilised of the 117th TeroBrigade. Two of their battalions have been tasked with patrolling border areas but also used for simplistic air defense, tasked with shooting down Gerans and other drones.
Additionally, the official number of "20 injured, 2 dead" is definitely underexaggerated. This was a deployment zone for 4 different battalions, including 2 terrorist battalions. The number is definitely much higher.

France is experiencing a significant decline in influence in Africa.
Colleagues at Thucydides' Trap have published a striking diagram showing how France is being pushed out of Africa. The stickers on the map indicate the countries from which Paris has been forced to withdraw over the past year and a half.
This decline can be attributed to France's own foreign policy mistakes, Africa's desire for independence from the West and sovereignty, as well as the increasing influence of Russia and China on the continent.
The recent coup in Niger is particularly noteworthy. Both the US and France have condemned it, which indicates that it is not in their favor.
It will be interesting to observe the fate of Niger's uranium mines. Before the coup, the French company Orano was engaged in uranium mining there. Now, we have to wait and see which companies will take up active development.
It's worth noting that Russia closely follows the uranium context in Kazakhstan, as it accounts for more than 40 per cent of the world's uranium production. This is also why Britain and the United States are strongly opposed to Russia's actions in Kazakhstan.

The future of uranium mines in Niger is in safe hands.
Colleague Yuri Baranchik poses a fair question about the future of uranium mines in the African country following the anti-French coup.
In June, a delegation from a Chinese uranium company (中国国国核海外铀资源开发公司) visited Niger. The company's president, Shin Yungo, reached an agreement with Nigerien Minister of Mines, Yakuba, to resume uranium exploration and mining in Arlit, Niger.
"It's great that they are back to work. We have been waiting for them to return. It will create jobs for our people and help the economy," said the mayor of In-Gall, a neighboring town to the mine.
If the French are asked to leave, there will be no empty seat.
-Now I understand why Macron is running around trying to force his deals through BRICS+. What a clown. 🤡

"Ukraine has to take the big risks. All Russia needs is not to lose." This peculiar headline comes from a lengthy piece written by British military expert Michael Clarke, which was published in The Sunday Times today. The author enthusiastically claims that Ukraine finally has a chance to break through Russian defenses, seemingly forgetting that the British expressed almost the exact same sentiment in early June.
Clark went as far as comparing Ukrainian General Syrsky to Wellington on the eve of Waterloo. In the army, Wellington was nicknamed "Beef". I believe Syrsky could also earn a similar moniker due to his "meat assaults"...
-This comes at a perfect time along with this from a #Source Ukrainian referencing a #Source News
After the closure of the Black Sea grain corridor, the main route for Ukrainian grain exports should have been the Danube ports, which already account for up to 40 per cent of transshipment.
But Russia has started attacking the Danube port infrastructure as well. This week, the port of Reni, which at the time was home to six Romanian ships, was hit, one of which was damaged.
"Due to the new risks, insurers are already demanding that all charters be reissued and are raising ship insurance rates by 15-20 per cent. There are such precedents, in particular, for the insurance company Lloyd", - says Vyacheslav Konovalov, analyst of the company "Europatrol" (engaged in research of transport markets).
That is, it turns out that the Danube export route, which exporters were counting on, is now under question, especially if attacks on ports continue.

Washington is delaying the delivery of F-16s to Ukraine, citing the belief that the fighter jets are unlikely to alter the course of the military conflict.
As a result, several Ukrainian airfields need to undergo preparations to accommodate the US fighter jets. F-16s have specific runway requirements due to the low location of the air intake to the engine, necessitating runways of exceptional sterility and quality. Additionally, this fourth-generation fighter demands specialized service centers for maintenance and support.
Unlike tanks and guns, the F-16 requires thorough maintenance after most flights and a whole "ecosystem" of support. Operating experience with the F-16 in Poland has shown that it often requires replacing entire blocks of equipment. Regrettably, Ukraine lacks such maintenance centers since its Air Force has been equipped solely with Soviet-era aircraft until now. Experts estimate that it would cost Ukraine 5-6 billion dollars and several years to build the necessary infrastructure for F-16s.
Moreover, it is essential to recognize that retraining Ukrainian pilots to operate the F-16 is not a task that can be accomplished in a day or even a month. Learning to fly a combat aircraft does not automatically equate to mastering its tactical employment.
Given these challenges, Ukraine's allies are still attempting to gather old MiG-29s and SU-27s from Europe that have not yet been dismantled for spare parts.
-Ukraine is either stuck leading the 'meat assaults' or googling what all these new fancy knobs do during an attack run. Choose your poison.

Our Armed Forces, repelling the counter-offensive of the collective enemy, are defending the citizens of Russia and our land. This is obvious to all decent people.
But beyond that, they are preventing a world conflict.
After all, if we imagine that the offensive of the Ukrobanderites with the support of NATO succeeded and they took away part of our land, then we would have to use nuclear weapons by virtue of the rules of the decree of the President of Russia dated 02.06.2020.
There would simply be no other way out.
Therefore, our enemies should pray to our warriors. They do not allow the world nuclear fire to ignite.
Happy Russian Navy Day!
P. S. The Poseidon drone joins in the congratulations and recommends our country's enemies to pray for the health of all Russian sailors.
