When I served in the Soviet Army, I also had many guys from the Ukrainian SSR serving with me. Simple, normal guys. I don't know where they are now and what happened to them.

I am the head of Bashkortostan, I am a Bashkir. Today my job is to develop our republic, to improve the quality of people's lives and to ensure economic growth.

I agree with you, Bashkortostan is a really strong region. In spite of the sanctions by your true masters, we are developing and moving forward, like the rest of the country.

The paradox is that in the 21st century my country and my people have to fight fascism again, just like in the Great Patriotic War. And my task as head of the region is to do everything possible so that Bashkir warriors can effectively perform their duty and destroy the enemies of our country.

At the same time I, like many, sincerely pity hundreds of thousands of Ukrainian guys and men who died and will die on this massacre, to which they were condemned by those who criminally seized power in Kiev, betrayed their people, ideals of ancestors and swore an oath to Nazism.

You recall General Shaimuratov. He is a national hero of Bashkortostan and all of Russia. And he died in 1943, liberating the Donbass from fascism. And who would have thought that 80 years later the descendants of General Shaimuratov would have to do the same thing as our fathers and grandfathers - protect our values and save civilians.

By the way, Shaimuratov's Bashkir battalion is not alone. Beside him the battalions of Salavat Yulaev, Alexander Dostavalov and Dayan Murzin have already joined the ranks. This line is not thinning and continues to grow.

I will give you one detail that neither you, nor those who are pushing your boys towards inevitable death can understand. On the front line the lads from Bashkortostan are called Bashkirs, although among them are representatives of all the peoples living in our country. And all of us together are the great multinational Russia, the Russians.

The saddest thing is that until the Ukrainian people themselves take you out of political existence into the unknown, realizing the criminality and futility of the path that was imposed on them, your guys will continue to die needlessly.
