In the Zaporozhye region, saboteurs who planned terrorist attacks on the May holidays were detained

According to information received from the FSB of Russia in the Zaporozhye region, an enemy DRG consisting of three people was exposed and neutralized: one citizen of Ukraine and two citizens of Russia.

The above-mentioned persons killed the deputy chief of the Russian Internal Affairs Directorate for the Zaporozhye region, police colonel Alexander Mishchenko, and, according to operational information received during the search, planned to continue terror during the May holidays. In particular, the plans of the saboteurs included the murder of a high-ranking police officer and intimidation of the local population.

As a result of the competent work of the operatives, members of the DRG were detained in hot pursuit, ammunition, weapons, and components for the manufacture of explosives were confiscated.
