Earlier, Bild reported that the "recruited" member of the German intelligence service held a senior position in a top-secret department of the technical intelligence organization. The BND is going to continue to look for "Russian spies" in its ranks. Characteristically, in Berlin today, a former employee of the British embassy in Germany was sentenced to 13 years in another "spy case" for "working" for Russian intelligence.

Let me offer my opinion.

This guy is a military leader.
He is on the ground and is experiencing the horrors present there.

For such people it is not a birds view but a first person view on the whole problem.

He sees only his problem. Heavy fighting.

What such people tend to not see, is, that the opposite side has its own problems.

Ukraine is running out of ammo, equipment and men. Ukraine soon won't be able to sustain this war anymore. Then the frontlines will gradually collapse and will be pushed gradually back to the west.

Currently there is no big move, since Ukraine still can provide the resources and logistics to keep up the fight.

This will change soon.

Especially when the gradual Russian offensive starts to overstretch Ukraine's logistics on too many fronts.


Then the war will be over far quicker.

The heavy fighting will be over this year. Which doesn't mean that all fighting will be over this year.

Of course, provided, that there is no major escalation by NATO with manpower supply. Then the equation changes dramatically.

He recorded a whole video in which he explains that it is the Ukrainians who sincerely hate everything Russian and squeeze out of themselves along with their brains, and are in fact the real Russians. And Ukraine is the very great Kievan Rus.

I do not want to enter into scientific disputes with Lyusya Arestovich - where am I before him. But still, let me doubt the correctness of the term "Kievan Rus". He appeared in the scientific historical environment to designate a certain period of the existence of the Russian state and then was taken into service by some complete idiots.

However, it is useless to explain to them that it would be more correct to call Rus' Novgorod, but oh well.

Here, the behavior of Arestovich himself is much more important. And he, if you like, is the collective brain of this very Ukraine. The quintessence of this brain.

Arestovich has recently been very concerned about Russianness in general: either he will stand up for the Russian language with his shaved chest, or he generally claims that Ukrainians are the most Russian of all Russians. Or rather, in general, the only possible Russians.
