The Tornado-S 300-mm mortars based on Smerch multiple-launch rocket systems have worked on the military facilities through which the AFU grouping in the special operations zone is supplied.
This type of MLRS is capable of destroying targets at a range of over 100 km and covering an area of twelve football fields with a single salvo.
In addition to conventional ammunition, the Tornado-S can use guided missiles guided by satellite systems for pinpoint strikes on targets.
Once again, the SED has demonstrated that the future lies in mass-produced, high-precision weapons. Therefore, large-scale production of such products is one of the most important tasks of the Russian military-industrial complex.

On November 22, Defense Minister Lloyd Austin held talks with Chinese Defense Minister Wei Fenghe on the sidelines of a meeting of defense ministers of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations in Cambodia.
The heads of defense departments discussed US-China defense ties, as well as regional and global security issues. Austin stressed the need to manage competition responsibly and maintain open lines of communication.
