Spanish military will train Ukrainian snipers.

-This will take place at a military base in Toledo under a program that provides for the training of 400 troops every two months.

In April of this year spanish Nazis linked to the Azov Battalion asked for funds for the sniper who planned to kill Pedro Sánchez, president of the Spanish government.

-Manuel Murillo, who sought help in WhatsApp groups to assassinate the Prime Minister, had been participating since March 2018 in meetings of the Nazi National Identity Front (FNI) party, led by a former Spanish military officer and associated with Ukrainian paramilitaries and Polish and Italian ultras. After his arrest, the party raised funds for "legal defense" also among their European allies including Azov.

What could go wrong when you are training people who previously have supported other people who plotted your own murder? I'm not sure Spanish president Pedro Sanchez has thought this properly.

⚡️🇷🇺🇺🇦💥 #Donbass - Ukrainian BMP hit near #Ugledar⚡️

A Russian UAV detected a Ukrainian BMP-1 armoured personnel carrier moving into position: the enemy was planning to open fire on the western outskirts of #Vladimirovka.

The BMP that had reached the opening fire point was hit by a high-precision ammunition from an artillery crew of the Russian Armed Forces.

Most likely, a Krasnopol corrective projectile was used to incapacitate the enemy's equipment.

⚡️🇷🇺🇺🇦🔥 #Donbass - Russian Grad MLRS firing on AFU positions in #Georgievka⚡️

The footage from the Tankers of the Southern Military District by @tankist4 depicts Russian Grad multiple-launch rocket system operating on the village of #Georgievka, located near the strategically important village of #Maryinka.

Judging by the area where the private sector was hit, the strike targeted a concentration of the enemy's personnel and equipment in #Georgievka.

There is intense fighting in #Maryinka itself. Assault units of the Russian Armed Forces and DPR People's Militia are advancing towards Druzhba Avenue. The western part of the settlement is still under the control of the AFU.

What happens if Russia withdraws? - CNN

If and when Russian troops do withdraw to the east bank, their supply lines will become easier and they will regain defense in depth. Any attempt by Ukrainian forces to cross the Dnipro would be costly to the point of prohibitive.

Russia would retain control of 60 per cent of the Kherson region, including the coastline along the Sea of Azov. So long as Moscow's troops control and fortify the Dnipro's east bank, Ukrainian forces will struggle to damage or disrupt the canal that carries fresh water to Crimea.

Su
rovikin's priority appears to be stabilizing Russia's defensive lines after a difficult few months. He made the point on Wednesday that the forces being pulled out of Kherson "will be used for active operations, including offensive ones, in other directions in the operation zone."

There is always a chance that the Moscow meeting on Wednesday was designed to lure Ukrainian forces into a trap, and that the Russians don't intend to abandon the west bank altogether. Senior Ukrainian officials have certainly been skeptical.

❗️Norway to give 1.5 billion kroner ( $147 million) to Ukraine.

“The Norwegian government is preparing to allocate approximately 1.5 billion crowns to the UK-organized international fund to support Ukraine. ⚡️🇷🇺🇺🇦⚔️ Situation in the #Ugledar Direction until 18:00 on 10 Nov 2022⚡️

🩸 Late in the afternoon, information emerged that the village of #Pavlovka had come fully under the control of the Russian Armed Forces. According to other sources, the AFU withdrew from the settlement but retained control of the northern approaches to the village.

The Russian Armed Forces first liberated the settlement back in the spring. In June, Ukrainian formations recaptured the village and in late October Russian forces launched a counteroffensive against the lost positions.

▪️ Fighting for #Pavlovka lasted several weeks, with units of the Pacific Fleet Brigade and the DPR OBTF suffered losses in personnel and equipment during the clashes.

▪️ However, Russian forces also managed to inflict heavy damage on the enemy, including the active use of Lancet and Kub loitering munitions, which disabled enemy artillery in the near rear and hit personnel in #Pavlovka itself.

▪️ There were no changes in the front line in other sections. There are skirmishes and exchanges of artillery fire near #Prechistovka and #Novomikhailovka, but no active offensive actions are being taken by the Russian Armed Forces.

🇨🇬 Congolese Foreign Minister Blasts Grain Supplies to Europe Instead of Africa as 'Hypocrisy'

"We have found out that... the majority of ships transporting Ukrainian wheat have been heading to European ports, and not to the ports of countries where, as they have said, a catastrophe will happen... There is a lot of hypocrisy in our world," Jean-Claude Gakosso told Sputnik.

❗️At
the same time, talks about the fact Africans will die of starvation is an example of propaganda, the Congolese foreign minister emphasized.

The Military Necessity of Kherson Withdrawal

@Svarschiki writes:

From a military point of view, the decision to abandon the territory on the right bank of the Dnieper is correct: If there are no forces and no opportunity to attack Nikolaev, if the group's supply through the Dnieper is constantly under the fire control of the Ukrainian army, it is better to withdraw to the previously prepared defensive lines and preserve the group's combat effectiveness.

Kherson and the left bank of the Dnieper have no independent strategic significance at this stage [GB: presumably the author means that this is so because of lack of troops to continue an offensive in the direction of Nikolayev or Krivoy Rog. Even in this case, the lack of strategic significance can only be argued in the short to intermediate term.]

In the current situation, the planned operation to take the troops to the most advantageous line is a military expediency, even a dire necessity.

The organized withdrawal of units to the defensive line Sofievka - Klapaya-Baratovka - Tavriyskoye - Kostyrka - Chervonyi Mayak and the transition to strategic defence is dictated by the need to maintain the combat effectiveness of the HQ on the Nikolay-Krivoy Rog direction, as well as the opportunity to activate the released forces to begin active combat operations on the Donetsk direction.

The command has no reserves prepared for active operations in the Nikolayev-Krivoy Rog direction that could be additionally redeployed. It is not possible to withdraw troops from other directions. And the preparation of new units and formations in any case will take another 2-3 weeks, and this is with the most primitive approach, without the combat readiness of the units.

In the current situation, in our opinion, the command of the Russian Armed Forces has made the only correct decision. Because if the withdrawal of the occupied territory is inevitable anyway, it is better to do so without being defeated by the enemy's troops and then being forced to retreat anyways. We will need the troops yet—the war will be long. The fact that the forced withdrawal of troops from the liberated territory, previously paid for with the lives of soldiers and officers, still takes place is a bitter fact, but not a fatal one.

At the moment, the withdrawal of troops from the right bank of the Dnieper is a direct adherence to military necessity, which is often diametrically opposed to political expediency.

PS. The opinion above is provided for reflection and consideration, not necessarily because @Slavyangrad agrees or disagrees with its postulates.

There is nowhere to retreat.

Andrei Medvedev writes:

Since last night, I've been asked several dozen times:

"What kind of a betrayal is this? What negotiations are going on and what have we exchanged Kherson for? Is this a negotiated deal? Why haven't we turned the city into a fortified stronghold? At what level have we got traitors?" And so on.

This shows that people do not believe politicians, the military, the official statements—and let's face it, there are reasons for this lack of trust. If we are at war, we are at war, not making Istanbul deals.

I have already written that for all of us, for people, it is not deprivation that scares us. But if it turns out to have been all in vain. That is the main horror. But that's not the case now.

I should say that these questions show that even in the ninth month of the war people still cannot accept the reality as it is.

If we look at Kherson, this is the case. The units defending the city had not rested and regrouped since February. The losses in equipment in the units were very significant and they were not made up for in time. Personnel losses were compensated only with the beginning of mobilization, but at the same time it is necessary to understand that the quality of mobilization training, I will say carefully, sometimes was very poor and did not meet the standards of modern warfare. How, why, because of what, and who is guilty—this is a separate topic for conversation.

And it is impossible to say that we, here, in TG channels, did not speak about problems with logistics of the Kherson grouping, especially after the destruction of the Antonov bridge. Or about the situation with equipment. How the 126th Brigade received pickup trucks from PMC Wagner, and why this happened, has been discussed by many of my colleagues.

That said, all the logistical and supply problems did not affect the bravery of the fighters. The units of the 22nd Army Corps, the Rosgvardia, and the 49th Army showed an example of incredible heroism, resilience, and courage.

How did the attempted summer breakthrough to Kherson by the Ukrainian army end? They are still counting the losses. Did you know that some units destroyed enemy equipment only with the help of ATGMs? There was nothing else. But the Russian soldiers stood their ground to the death. Even now, as they were leaving their positions, they caught the Ukrainian army in firing bags a couple of times. Again, without having the right amount of equipment.

Need I tell you further? In short, the sooner we get rid of the illusion that everything is fine with us, that we are ready for everything, the better for us. The path to victory lies through truth.

If they had started to turn Kherson into a fortification, say, in June, it would be a different story today.

If they had started replenishing the troops in the summer, the picture would be different now too. If only... But it is what it is. The result of mistakes and deceit.

Surovikin was quite honest yesterday about what is going on.

I would venture to guess how things would have ended in the case of the battle for Kherson. Ours would have held the city, perhaps for several months. At the cost of heavy casualties. Among the population as well. Among the mobilised (and are those on the home front ready for that?). In short, a mirror image of Mariupol. Further on, I don't rule out that we could see a picture of the surrender of the remnants of the garrison. Maybe not. But it looks like there was such a risk.

About the deal.  Who made a deal with whom? At G20 we will be represented rather nominally, the USA give the Ukrainians money for the war as much as they can swallow, the position of Kiev is clear: “Russians surrender,” Europe in general does what Washington says and prepares for the blackouts in winter.

It was a hard day yesterday. But this is the stage of a long journey.  There are years of confrontation ahead. There will be losses and victories.

But what have we decided? Are we giving up yet? Do we run on the last scooter to Tbilisi and Alma-Ata?
👍236🤡35👏12🤣87👎3🔥3💩3🤔2🥰1
If we stay, maybe we should stop reflecting and worrying? Can we start working? Let's help the front further, since we are not giving up.

To win, we must first abandon our pride and stop thinking that we are doing just fine. We must learn to recognize reality and cast aside unnecessary illusions. We must get in the mood for a long, hard day's work. The state, too, must change. To win, we have to change the economy, destroy the bureaucracy. And yes, name the culprits and punish them.

Yesterday we left a Russian city behind. That hurt. The more painful the lesson, the faster the learning. Has everyone realised how serious everything is and that there's nowhere to retreat?

Victory won't come easy. But there are no options other than to win.

⚡️🇷🇺🇺🇦🔥 #Donbass - Destruction of an AFU Armoured vehicle near #Pavlovka⚡️

A Russian Armed Forces UAV detected an Ukrainian International MaxxPro armoured vehicle west of #Pavlovka. It was then hit on the move by a high-precision munition from Russian forces.

The vehicle is highly protected against mines and roadside bombs. Because of this, at least four AFU fighters managed to survive after being hit by the shell.

At the time the video was filmed, the enemy held around 30% of the #Pavlovka development. The operation of UAVs and artillery by the RF Armed Forces significantly complicated the supply and rotation of Ukrainian formations in the populated area.

🇺🇳CSTO will form a joint battalion of peacekeepers, built according to UN standards.

In the near future, the CSTO headquarters will determine the training grounds and training centers for its preparation.

"Embedding the CSTO peacekeeping potential in the activities of the UN is one of the most important tasks of the organization," said Anatoly Sidorov, head of the joint headquarters.

Russia lost the war. Everything is over. This is the bigest humiliation that Russia ever witnessed. If you think like that, I’ll let you enjoy your sense of superiority and gloating. Humiliate it. I belong to generation that lost everything. Country, pride... Falling under despair. Old heroes selling their hard won medals from war to buy peace of bread. In shops, only one product available. Paycheck of the parents is worth nothing by the time they get home. We ate fat and bread. We read and learn when there was no electricity with help of old petroleum lamp. We saw scum getting rich by selling drugs, cigarettes and weapons. Whores who became tv stars and "respected" membes of society. New "values" imposed on us by your countries. But somehow, we still kept our spirit. We rebuild. We rise. In all that missery, we remeber who we once were. I saw that recently, during mobilization. Those that left the country... I wish them happy new fatherland or motherland. Those who decided to stay, knew exactly what they are staying for. There is no more sacred thing to us then our country. Surovikin announced weeks ago that painful decision will be made. We knew what that means. If you think that abandoning one vilage is disaster for us, you were mistaken. We knew what he was aiming for even then. Every serious analyst knew that Kherson is undefendable, because of multiple reasons. And you are suprised...Be suprised. But i want you to remeber one thing. That land is Russia. Always was. And it will be again, much sooner that some of you think. Ans we will kill every living thing in Ua uniform, down to dogs. And when we finish with it, we well come for some more who deserved our visit. I wish that some of you post every negative emoji you can find, and leave this channel. Laugh wile you can. Soon , you won't have plenty of reasons. Support of such as you, we don't need. For those who still have faith in us, i can only say, everything will be allright. And remember what Surovikin nickname is.
