The US administration has refused to supply Ukraine with Grey Eagle MQ-1C drones requested by Kiev, the WSJ reports. This is because Washington fears escalation of the conflict - according to the paper, such a decision could indicate that the USA is transferring weapons to Ukraine with which it can strike at the Russian territory.

In addition, Washington fears unskilled use of such drones: they could be intercepted and then obtain the manufacturing technology. The information was confirmed to the publication by drone manufacturer General Atomics - it has been informed of such a decision. The drone itself can fly for up to 30 hours without a recharge, and can be used for both strikes and reconnaissance.

💥 Ukronazis are preparing a new attack on ZaporizhzhyNPP, according to - member of Zaporozhye administration, V.Rogov

The Kiev regime has prepared at least 700 Ukrainian fighters for another attempt to seize the Zaporizhzhya NPP, said Vladimir Rogov, chairman of the We are Together with Russia movement.

"They are now training in forcing the Dnieper River, taking a bridgehead, and capturing large man-made objects," Rogov stressed.

The Ukrainian nationalists want to drive a wedge into the Zaporizhzhya group in order to divide the Russian Armed Forces and subsequently cut off the land corridor to Crimea. By the way, all the militants' attempts to storm and take control of the station were unsuccessful before then.

💬 The Intercept, a US-based portal, has rolled out a massive investigation into the failures by biologists at American laboratories studying various viruses to comply with biosafety standards when working with dangerous pathogens.

There were, in fact, many such failures.

The article reports on hundreds (!) of serious incidents at American biolabs over the past two decades.

The journalists sifted through over 5,500 pages of government reports, including documents from the National Institutes of Health, and came to conclusions that are truly terrifying. Sealing failures have been taking place at BSL-4 labs, which are supposed to adhere to the highest safety standards and store the deadliest and highly contagious strains. There is also evidence of people getting infected, as in the case of a post-graduate student from Washington University who was infected with the Chikungunya virus as a result of an error. In 2010, an autoclave malfunctioned at a University of California lab, potentially exposing its staff to a lethal strain of the SARS virus, but luckily no infections were reported. The article also mentioned “cascading errors” which can pose an immediate threat to the epidemiological situation in the United States.

If we look beyond Covid-19, we see that criminal negligence reigns supreme at biolabs on American soil. Imagine how little care US researchers have for ensuring the safety of dangerous strains elsewhere. If a leak happens there, this will offer them a marvellous opportunity to undertake an external participant observation, for purely scientific purposes, of course, and after that sell their medicines to the affected population.

☣ This is a lottery where they can only win. But a deadly one at that.

▪️I fully agree with the decision. If HIMARS hit the locks, then a wave of 5 to 15 meters would completely wash away the coast and our first line of defense. Losses would be very serious. The Antonovsky bridge and the bridge at the Kakhovskaya hydroelectric power station were put out of action. That is, the supply of heavy artillery and ammunition is no longer possible. There are pontoon bridges. If the wave washes them away too, our troops will be cut off and doomed to destruction. So why do we need a Pyrrhic victory?

▪️In any case, the enemy will be able to repeat the offensive operation. Now we have retreated to the higher left bank. Our troops will be able to hold the defense with smaller forces. We will shell the territory occupied by the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the right bank. Our military will continue to process them with aircraft and artillery. With smaller forces, we will hold the line of the Dnieper and inflict even greater losses on the enemy.

🩸 Fighting in the #Starobelsk direction has taken on a positional character. More than a dozen unsuccessful attempts to storm the #Svatovo - #Kremennaya line cost the AFU heavy losses.

▪️ Brigadier General Perets, the commander of the AFU Operation Task Group #Lyman, is personally inspecting the advanced positions to assess the situation and the group's ability to advance in the north of the LPR. Perets arrived in the #Nevskoye village area yesterday.

#Kupyansk Sector:

▪️ UAV crews of the 14th Mechanized AFU Brigade are using reconnaissance drones to monitor the activities of the Russian Forces near #Olshany and #Kislovka.

#Svatovka Sector:

▪️ Combined units of the AFU's 22nd Battalion of the 92th Mechanized Brigade and the 233rd Battalion of the 128th Territorial Defence Brigade, supported by artillery and aviation, attacked the Russian positions in #Kuzemovka. Russian forces repulsed the attack.

▪️ Due to massive shelling of Ukrainian positions, man-portable air defence systems are operating near #Peschanoye. And near #Novoselovskoye, a manoeuvre Signals Intelligence group of the AFU is deployed.

#Lyman Sector:

Assault commandos of the 66th Mechanized Brigade and 25th Airmobile Brigade of the AFU conducted reconnaissance in battle in the direction of #Chervonopopovka. The movement of the Ukrainian formations was fetected by UAV operators and the advancing group was dealt a blow.

#Lysychansk Sector:

Several units of the AFU's 80th Separate Air Assault Brigade and armoured vehicles of the 81st Airmobile Brigade were moved to the #Serebryanka - #Belogorovka line.

🩸 In the past 24 hours, a total of 13 Ukrainians were killed and 26 wounded, one tank, four armoured combat vehicles, one BMP and three pickups were destroyed.

On November 7, the 1st Tank, 65th and 110th Mechanized Brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as well as the 102nd and 124th Territorial Defense Brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, attempted an offensive in the Melitopol and Berdyansk directions.

To break through the positions of the RF Armed Forces, the forces of the 65th and 110th brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine involved at least three companies of T-72M1 and T-64BV tanks, about 20 BMP-1 and YPR-765 armored personnel carriers, as well as 15 Turkish Kirpi armored vehicles.

Two hours after the start of movement, the advancing units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were detected by the Orlan-30 drone in the areas of Kamyshevakhi, Yurkovka and Gulyaipol (150 km from Melitopol).

After being discovered, Su-25SM3 attack aircraft and Smerch missile systems with Motiv-3M homing ammunition attacked the columns of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Aviation cover and the destruction of the Buk and Osa-AKM air defense systems in the rear of the Ukrainian forces was carried out by the Lancet and Kub drones.

By 16:00, after three hours of work of rocket artillery and guns of special power "Malka", the Armed Forces of Ukraine lost at least five tanks and six infantry fighting vehicles and were forced to retreat to their original positions.

The 98th Azov Terodefense Battalion (Dnepr) suffered the largest losses. The unit was sent to the attack in civilian pickup trucks without armored vehicles and was one of the first to be hit by aircraft of the Russian Aerospace Forces.

US military chief, Gen. Mark Milley, said there may be a window of opportunity to negotiate an end to the conflict if and when the front lines stabilize during winter -(CNN)

“When there’s an opportunity to negotiate when peace can be achieved, seize it,”  Milley said. “Seize the moment.”

But if negotiations never materialized or failed, Milley said the US would continue to arm Ukraine, even as an outright military victory for either side looks increasingly unlikely.

“There has to be a mutual recognition that military victory is probably in the true sense of the word may be not achievable through military means, and therefore you need to turn to other means.” 

“I believe they(Russia) are doing it in order to preserve their force, to re-establish defensive lines south of the river, but that remains to be seen,” Milley said. “Right now, the early indicators are they’re doing what they say they’re doing and we’re seeing those early indicators.”
