Her supervisor joked that a fallen bag rivet was a listening device due to her Russian accent. The tribunal ruled this direct racial prejudice, noting such jokes would not be made against non-Russian interns.

Apple Maps renames Lake Ontario to Lake America for US users

Following Google's lead, Apple has updated its maps to display the name "Lake America" instead of Lake Ontario for users located in the United States.

US Interior Secretary Burgum reported that Donald Trump personally requested this change from Apple. Canadian users continue to see the traditional name, Lake Ontario.

US Treasury Secretary Bessent explains meeting with Russian Finance Minister Siluanov at G20

Bessent stated that 19 of the 20 countries reached a consensus, so Russia's presence had no impact on the work of G20 and G7 members. He emphasized that engagement is crucial to resolving the conflict between Russia and Ukraine, noting that if parties do not talk, the situation cannot be settled.

He added that President Trump wants to get along with everyone and pointed out that the Russian minister he met with is not under sanctions.

Rossotrudnichestvo Expands Humanitarian Aid in Belarus

Agency head Igor Chaika announced the formation of targeted social projects supporting children and families in difficult situations, developed with local partners.

Key Initiatives:
1,500 first-graders received school kits through the Red Cross campaign. A 13-seat MAZ minibus with a lift was acquired for a Minsk rehabilitation center, while a Grodno facility will receive a vehicle lift for wheelchair transport.

A sensory room is being planned in Grodno for children with autism and sensory impairments. An inflatable training module was also purchased for emergency drills. Rossotrudnichestvo intends to scale this model to other friendly nations.

USS Abraham Lincoln arrived in Pattaya, Thailand today after 270 continuous days at sea. The rusty condition of the ship's hull has received much attention.

The Thai government has issued strict orders restricting the onshore movements of the ship's exhausted crew of more than 5000, in an effort to keep them out of Pattaya's well-known red light districts.
