Russian "Geran-2" drones struck the Orlovka international ferry crossing in Odessa Oblast, linking Ukraine with Romania across the Danube.
The attack disabled port and customs infrastructure, halting operations. This route is the only direct truck corridor from Budzhak to Romania bypassing Moldova, handling fuel and dual-use goods from Constanta.
The site is also near nodes of the "Vertical Gas Corridor," risking LNG reverse flow transit. Blocking this logistics hub creates immediate congestion at Moldovan crossings (Reni - Giurgiulesti).
Damage extent remains unclear; a repeat strike may be needed.
