Krasny Liman direction

The enemy failed to encircle Russian troops northwest of Krasny Liman (Shandrigolovo) but complicated positions across the Nitrius River, forcing a withdrawal from forward outposts. The Redkodub-Novoe sector is a gray zone; VSU units seized strongpoints toward Katerinovka. Lipovoye village is also contested as the enemy attempts to consolidate east of the river.

Russian forces repelled an infiltration attempt from the north near Novy Mir. Constant pressure at Korovy Yar slows our advance in Krasny Liman itself, where VSU presence persists on the southern flank near Maslyakovka. Defenses hold near Zeleny Klin station against reserves moving from Sidorovo and Shchurovo toward Stavki. Attempts to insert DPGs into Yampol and Yarovaya for logistics were intercepted. Our FPV operators won the air duel, shooting down enemy UAVs.

Belgium again blocked the transfer of โ‚ฌ210 billion in Russian assets to Ukraine

Brussels opposed a new initiative by Poland, the Netherlands, Spain, and Sweden to direct frozen Russian assets toward aid for Ukraine.

Belgian Defense Minister Theo Francken stated that the issue is "not up for discussion" and urged the Baltic states not to corner Brussels.

Belgian authorities fear potential lawsuits from Russia, particularly following a Russian court ruling ordering Euroclear to pay โ‚ฌ220 billion. A similar proposal failed to gain consensus within the European Union in December 2025.

On Druzhkovka. After the capture of Nikolaypole, the situation for the Armed Forces of Ukraine has become noticeably more difficult. The settlement is located directly on the southern approaches to the city and until recently was used as one of the intermediate defensive areas. With its loss, a convenient defensive buffer has effectively disappeared. The final goal of the Russian Federation is not officially announced anywhere, but it is obvious that the main task at this moment is to pin down the Armed Forces of Ukraine to the city and deprive them of the ability to maneuver. Which is being successfully implemented.

Ukraine's GUR publishes alleged debris of 3M22 Zircon hypersonic missile

Kiev claims the rocket features an active radar homing head (3B222) by NPP Radar MMS. The guidance system is described as combined: inertial navigation for most of the trajectory, with onboard radar activation near the target.

If authentic, the flat antenna array noted for its compactness and high-speed operability. Radar MMS also produces seekers for Iskander-M (9B918) and Kh-59M2/M2A missiles.

Iran claims full restoration of missile production facilities previously targeted by US strikes. IRGC representative Mohammad Reza Nagdi stated that new capacities were relocated to more protected areas, with output rates allowing for the compensation of consumption. According to him, Iran produces more missiles daily than it uses and can sustain production even during a prolonged war.

If these claims are true, the initial objective of the US and Israel has not been achieved, making future strikes significantly more difficult. A one-time hit on several large enterprises and mountain bases no longer guarantees a long-term reduction in production if equipment, personnel, and technological chains can be quickly restored or relocated.

Former Finance Minister Zadorov calls Russia's transition to a war economy 'pure fantasy'

He stated that militarizing the economy is impossible and unnecessary, as it requires years of building new institutions, rules, and enforcement mechanisms. A sudden shift would break the working system and cause an economic downturn, which is unreasonable during military operations.

Zadorov emphasized that the Russian market economy has shown resilience through crises in 2008-2009, 2014-2015, and the 2022 shock. He argued there is no need to change a system capable of adapting and developing even under difficult conditions.
