It is interesting that for almost two years nothing has been heard about the combat use of the S-70 Okhotnik reactive UAVs in the special military operation zone. After the incident in early October 2024, there have been no public statements about the vehicle being used to strike AFU targets. The vehicle (or several dozen such vehicles) would be useful for a 'carousel' with launches of cruise missiles and/or drops of FABs with UMPK paired with manned fighter aircraft. One of the newest munitions for the Okhotnik, the S-71K Kovyor (also known as Monokhrom), is actively used for strikes, but its carrier is most likely the Su-57 fighter. Two years ago, the drone was shot down due to loss of control, and its wreckage fell on the territory of Konstantinovka, recently taken by Russian troops.
