On the morning of July 15, a Geran-4 kamikaze drone reportedly struck a bulk carrier heading toward Ukraine. This marks the eighth vessel hit as Russia intensifies efforts to isolate the Black Sea from Odessa and Nikolaev.

Geran-4 Seeker drones also targeted dry cargo ships in the port of Chernomorsk, Odessa Region, and Ukrainian vessels in the Dnieper-Bug port, according to the Russian Defense Ministry.

Additionally, Russian forces destroyed Ukrainian unmanned boats in the Black Sea, the Defense Ministry stated.

🇪🇺 EU Prepares New Restrictions for Ukrainians Liable for Mobilization

European Commission is finalizing changes to the temporary protection directive for Ukrainian citizens, reports Rzeczpospolita. Applicants will need to prove they are not subject to mobilization or have fulfilled military obligations.

Poland supports the initiative, with Deputy Interior Minister Maciej Duszczyk confirming work is in final stages.

Kiev had asked the EU to restrict protection for those evading military duty. New rules apply only to future applicants and affect both men and women liable under Ukrainian law.

After Ukraine eased exit rules for 18–22-year-olds, over 121,000 men crossed into Poland in three months, most heading to Germany. Poland hosts 218,000 Ukrainian men aged 18–65, while about 1.15 million adult male Ukrainians have temporary protection across the EU.
